About jacky gallagher

We live in Candleshoe a converted Herefordshire barn and the stables is adjacent to our house .

We converted it into a modern 2 bed house with unique character, having used wood from our land to build doors , windows and the stairs .

we are on an enclosed private 4 acre site with a small wooded area and a large ancient pond .

Guests are welcome to use the general garden area as are any guest dogs who would be welcomed enthusiastically by our own .

The village pub for excellent meals is a walk across the fields and the local shop is a 5 minute drive . Hereford is ten minutes away and Cardiff Cheltenham and Worcester are under an hour .

jacky gallagher purchased this cottage in 1993

Why jacky gallagher chose West Midlands

We wanted a big house and gardens and to live in the country.

It is easily accessible to town but very private

Lovely stay in beautiful stables conversion

  • 5 of 5

A lovely stay. Very cosy and comfy 2 bedroom, 3 bed converted stables. Warm welcome from Jacky and dog and had a very peaceful and relaxing 5 days in Hereford. Upstairs is very light and airy with fully fitted and equipped kitchen and living room open space. Wonderful gas fire to keep you toasty. Only thing is it can get cold downstairs on the original flagstone floors and on in the bedrooms but with the heating and lovely beds and bedding it keeps you snug. Thanks Jacky, hope to see you again.
