A large secure shed is provided for additional storage for bicycles and any other equipment that you might decide to bring. Bright and breezy in the summer months, warm and toasty in the winter - due to the state of the art electric heating system and insulation. Superbly located as a get-away in the winter months.

About the Owner

We are a young family and purchased the The Old Barn, Holme, in 2006. We carried out a completed refurbishment and modernisation and continue to make little changes here and there every year. We live near Stamford and travel regularly to The Old Barn to escape work and immerse ourselves in the sheer beauty of all that the North Norfolk coast has to offer.

In 2007 we also bought two properties next to the beach at South Beach, Heacham. We thought these would be perfect for our children to grow up around and play by the beach in the traditional way.

We had a great time exploring the North Norfolk coast, Beach side is a great location and very comfortable. We had everything we needed (apart from no WIFI). We enjoyed every minute.

Beautiful, relaxing, perfect location!

We had an absolutely wonderful (and very well priced) week here in August. Perfect for our young family, our daughters loved the bunk beds and being so close to the beach. It is close enough to everything you need and But still far away enough from everything to be relaxing. The property itself is incredibly well put together- a very helpful owner too. Just fantastic. We will be back.

Clean and well presented accommodation in an ideal location.

We had a super family holiday. Accommodation was idyllic as the location so close to the beach ,because of this we did not want to return home!! The accommodation was of a high standard with a nice touch upon arrival being left two pints of milk, a loaf of bread and a cake by the owners. We also liked the fact that on one side of the property, facing towards the beach, there were patio doors which opened up giving a panoramic view of the sky and sand dunes; and of an evening watching the sun set was amazing. Unfortunately we had a little disappointment when we attempted to use the neighbouring resort's swimming pool as suggested in the details of this accommodation's advert; we were stopped from doing this because it was high season. This was disappointing as it was one of the reasons we booked this particular property. Saying that we cannot fault anything else about our booking. There were ample activities to find and do in the area anyway.

Very nicely furnished and great location!

We had a lovely stay at the beach house. It is in a great location, just next to the beach. The house is very nicely furnished with a well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds.

I would definitely recommend it as a relaxing getaway for a couple or small family of 4. We hope to go back!

Beachside is a perfect base from which to enjoy beach activities. A fabulous vantage point to watch the sun rise over the grazing fields and snettisham woods, through to setting over the sand dunes. Surrounded by nature and an amazingly tranquil location.
