Overlooking Fistral Beach, our holiday home is beautifully presented with all the comforts of home, including dvd and wifi. The private garden is great for relaxing in the evening, and the covered allocated parking space gives peace of mind. Town Centre within walking distance. Cafes and restaurants on the beach and in town. Easy access to Cornwall's amazing days out too.

About Jo and Gary Scott

We are a family with two boys who love Cornwall and are delighted to be able to share our holiday home with like minded people. We love combing the beach for shells and driftwood to make pieces of art with, and enjoying surfing and swimming in the sea. As a photographer and a sculptor we both have an emotional and spiritual connection to the sea as it invigorates our creativity, so to stay close to it is, for us, very special.

Why Jo and Gary Scott chose Newquay

We both had visited Cornwall every year on family holidays as children, and together we came back time and time again. With our children we had stayed at Fistral Beach over the years and love it's accessibility and the beauty of the area.

What makes this house unique

Being able to sit in bed or in the sitting room and watch the sea roll in and out, to assess the surfing conditions and watch the rays of the setting sun play on the water, is priceless. There are so many choices for places to eat, and the convenience of Newquay is great.

This is a fabulous house in the ideal location

The property was spotless when we arrived and is fully equipped with everything required for a perfect holiday. It is ideally located for Newquay and for walks to Pentire Headland, Crantock etc. The view of Fistral Beach from the first and second floors is amazing and we never tired of watching the sea and all the surfing activities. The owner always responded very promptly to any queries. We would definitely recommend this property and hope to return next year.

Lovely house by the beach in Newquay

We had a very enjoyable stay at this lovely house which is right by the beach in beautiful Newquay. Since the house was very nicely laid out, and the views from the rooms so lovely, we spent lots of our time there watching the waves, surfers on the beach, or the evening sunsets. When we did venture out, it was a pleasant and short walk down to the beach with a good lifeguard presence, so we felt safe to swim/body board with our children (age 10 and 8). The walk into Newquay town centre was not far, and there were lots of lovely seaside shops and places to eat. We found a very lovely pub (The fort Inn) with great views and good food. Overall a very enjoyable holiday, easy to book and good communication with the owners. We have already booked again for our holiday next year.

Fantastic property with stunning beach view

Excellent house in an amazing location. Situated 10-15 mins from the centre of Newquay at the south end of Fistral beach.

Accurately described the property was spotless and really well maintained.

Jo the owner was really helpful and excellent to deal with, really quick responses to emails.

I'd thoroughly recommend this property and the location. Not having visited Newquay for a number of years we were really impressed with the Town Centre and beaches especially Fistral Beach. Fistral at the North End has a new complex with a Rick Stein Fish & Chip shop plus other good bars and food places. The town has Pizza Express and Prezzos plus numerous other nice pubs and restaurants. We left it to the end of the week to explore further afield and discovered two other good beaches Crantock & Holywell (Many thanks Lady next door who gave us the tip). Surfing was excellent when we had waves! Also revisited North of Newquay to some old haunts like Morgan Porth and Watergate Bay.

The house benefits from a stunning beach view from the living room and main bedroom.

I'd stay again and hopefully sooner rather than later!

Family weekend in Cornwall

We had a great weekend in this lovely beach-side townhouse, which was very comfortable and well-equipped, with beautiful sea views There are lots of good restaurants etc nearby, and the central location is perfect for touring Cornwall. .

We would recommend this property, and definitely plan to return, for a bit longer next time.

Excellent location

The location was fantastic, amazing sea view 15 minute walk maximum from the supermarket, cinema and town centre. House was lovely and spacious enough for 3 adult couples, but probably better suited to families with children. The owner is very prompt in responding to questions so made the booking process hassle free

Amazing house - perfect family holiday!

The house was perfect. Excellent location and beautiful inside;tThe pictures online don't really do this house justice.

My husband and I stayed in the double bedroom at the front of the house on the top floor - the bed was very comfortable and waking up to the amazing views every morning was lovely.

We were a family of 6 - 4 adults and 2 children. We had plenty of room and having 2 bathrooms was great.

The house was spotless when we arrived.

Great communication from the owners from booking to after we left - great customer service.

I would definitely recommend this house and would be more than happy to stay again.

A few minutes walk to Fistral Beach which is very family friendly and a great surf beach


Newquay Airport, Newquay Train station. About 15 mins walk into central Newquay - a car is not essential but recommended.


On the edge of Newquay town centre. Within approx 45 minutes of St Ives, The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan.

Further Details:

Restaurants and bars within walking distance at Fistral Beach and in Newquay town centre. Sainsburys is 10/15 mins by foot or a few minutes drive for provisions.
