An excellent break

  • 5 of 5

A superb, thoughtfully equipped and immaculately maintained property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the barn was extremely comfortable and perfect for a weekend meet up.

The owner lives close by and was extremely helpful without being intrusive. Undoubtedly one of the best properties we have rented.

We would not hesitate to recommend Little Owl Barn and hope to return ourselves.

Perfect holiday house!

  • 5 of 5

We found the Little Owl Barn to be the perfect place for the four of us to spend time in Somerset. The house is very well furnished and we found it to be very clean when we arrived. There were plenty of good instructions about using the features nd amenities of the house, such as washing machines and kitchen appliances. Everything was in great working order.

The locale is lovely and very quiet (except for the occasional cow sounding off) and we found it quite peaceful. The vista is super, and we quickly felt as comfortable as we do on our own homes. Getting to the various points in Somerset that we visited was easy from the Little Owl Barn. We met Philip the landlord, who is exceptionally nice and willing to offer advice and help when asked. All in all, our stay couldn't have been better.

Thanks for a wonderful experience.

Lovely peaceful property

  • 5 of 5

Thank you Philip and Sarah for allowing us to stay in your lovely property. The location was very quiet and the property was very clean and had everything we needed for our short break. Maisie our springer spaniel loved the large garden and couldn’t quite make out the visiting small deer in the neighbouring paddock one evening. Thank you Philip for the offer of any help and your advice on the local area and it was lovely to meet your dog Hattie before we left. We certainly will recommend your property.

Amazing property, perfect location and kind and helpful hosts.

  • 5 of 5

My family stayed at the barn for our wedding. We live down the road in Wellington and ended up using the owl barn as our base for the weekend as the open plan layout and incredible outside space made it perfect for a family to spend time together with dogs and children able to run around outside safely! Philip and Sarah were incredibly helpful and popped over the check we were ok, and helped my mum when she turned up without the keys! Would absolutely recommend, thank you so much! Alex Williams

Lovely Bank holiday weekend spent at Little Owl Barn

  • 5 of 5

This is our second visit to Little Owl Barn & we enjoyed it just as much as the first time.

The weather was lovely so we were all able to enjoy the wonderful enclosed acre garden. The dog probably had the best time out there ;)

We took the kids to Flip out as they love it there but apart from that the rest of the time was spent outdoors. We took a short drive to Sidmouth & stroll along the beach. Had a lovely lunch at Sheppys cider place before sadly heading home. We would highly recommend Little Owl Barn & no doubt will will be back again. Love Tania, Ian, Daniel, Lauren, Freya & Rogue
