Fantastic property close to town and amenities
You don't get a second chance for a first impression and this property wowed us when we entered. Very clean, fresh and well appointed with all the facilities we wanted. Its obvious that the owners take great pride in this delightful cottage and was beyond our expectations. Its ideal for a couple or a family with one child in the single bedroom. Its a 5 min walk to town and all of the shops, pubs and restaurants there, but is very quite location. Parking is tight on the road but there is a allocate parking space just 5 mins walk away so didn't pose a problem at all. We're hoping to return here again next year, that's how good we felt the property and owner are.

Wonderful location for some fabulous walking.
Amazing little cottage, ideally located and so close to the town centre. Helen and Steve were very friendly and accommodating, lovely people. We had a great time and would definitely consider coming back.

Bryony Cottage has been retained by our family for three generations having been bought my my maternal grandmother in the 1960's. We have kept various attractive features dating back to yesteryear but complemented by the very latest superfast broadband.

Why they chose this property

The cottage is lovingly maintained by ourselves to a high standard. Our own home is located only minutes away and we are very happy to offer any aspect of assistance if required.

What makes this property unique

A very large proportion of our visitors are return guests; 18 consecutive years have been notched up by one amazingly loyal couple. A large proportion of guests comment on the advantageous location of the cottage being so convenient to the village yet situated in a quiet, slightly elevated, position within the oldest corner of Ambleside.
