Apartment is 200m from the leisure area comprising of a large outdoor pool and indoor pool (with jacuzzi), 2 tennis courts and children's play area. The rear garden is private with 2 sun loungers. The lounge has 2 leather sofa's, LCD TV, DVD (plays CD's), Cable to Tv iPod connection or similar. Situated 5 minutes drive from Alvor, Praia da Rocha and Portimao. 5 minutes to Penina golf, 10 minutes drive to slide and splash water park, 15 minutes drive to the autodrome and new karting track and 30 minutes to zoo marine.

Special interest holidays:

Autodrome with track days and racing school 10 km away. Watch the World Superbike championship or try the new karting circuit with 5 simultaneous track configurations from kids to adult 270 cc karts. Also around the area: canoeing, fishing, dolphin watching, boat trips available from Alvor or Portimao harbour, mountain biking in the monchique hills or even try skydiving at the nearby private airport. Golf is a given.


The breath taking beautiful sandy beaches in the Algarve are amongst the finest in Europe. Relax on the expansive Alvor beach approximately 5km or picturesque Praia da Rocha that benefits from a wooden beach 'boardwalk' incorporating several café style restaurants which is approximately 4 km.


Faro airport is 45 minutes drive via the A22 motorway. Return transfers from airport can be arranged. Car hire is recommended. Airport transfers can be arranged priced on request.


With a 5 minute walk from the apartment there are a few local bars in the village of Chao Das Donas and also a large retail park.

Portimao is 4 km away and has a cosmopolitan feel both in it's shops and cafe/restaurants and Marina.

Apartment price includes all heating, water, air-conditioning and 4 leisure area access cards. Oasis Parque is situated in the small village of Chao das Donas a traditional Portuguese village with a selection of local bars and restaurants and a weekly village dance with live music in the summer. The new Aqua shopping centre are within 2km and served by local buses.ATM machines can be found in the big supermarkets & in the banks.

Alvor is a traditional fishing village with cobbled streets and excellent restaurants where you can relax and watch the sun go down. It also has a beautiful sandy beach and the new boardwalk around the estuary and running parallel to the beach is a a great way to see the village.

Portimao is a much larger port (good for shopping) and has a lovely marina and a fabulous beach in Praia da Rocha.(Praia da Rocha also has a strip with a much livlier nightlife).

Lagos is a historic town with gorgeous streets, beaches and a new marina. Silves is a beautiful historical town with a Moorish castle and a visit here is recommended as is a visit to Caldas da Monchique.

The mountains of Monchique are worth a visit for the spectacular views or simply stopping at one of the many restaurants to enjoy the Chicken Piri-Piri !

A drive out the coast to see the rugged beauty of Sagres and Cape St. Vincent is not to be missed.

There are the water parks, Zoomarine, Go- karting in Almancil, Krazyworld, 'Sand City ' a unique experience which changes each year, Lagos Zoo.The new Autodrome, with it's race circuit and future Formula 1 track is only 10km away, where you can also have a go at karting with fast karts on one of the biggest tracks in Europe.

There's plenty to do in the area and if you're not a sun worshipper you can choose from golf, walking, surfing, diving, sailing, fishing, all types of water sports, dolphin watching, horse-riding, 4-wheel drive safaris, cruises, tennis, soccer schools, kite-surfing etc

Outside: The enclosed back garden has a flagged patio area and 2 sun loungers to make the most of the sun, complimented with table, parasol, chairs and a barbecue. It is a great place to sunbathe or sit out in the daytime or evening. The garden has hedges to the right and left separating it from the neighbours. There is a large boulder wall at the end of the garden. This makes the garden fairly secluded. It gets the sun from morning until late evening in the height of summer. There is also a patio and garden area to the front with Table, chairs and parasol this also benefits from the morning sun. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included in the price. The property is cleaned before arrival, departure and linen changed on a weekly basis. Extra cleaning and a towel and linen change can be arranged on request (please provide own beach towels). Other: This apartment is fully air conditioned and has a rental license, please take this into account when comparing quotes.
