The house originally belonged to the renowned mountaineer Lionel Terray, in the 50's. It has recently benefited from a complete renovation. 'loft style' chalet with exposed beams, bay window opening onto a balcony and ceiling Velux windows which allow for maximum light and mountain views. There's a large 60 sqm comfortable lounge and dining area opening onto a balcony above the main street of Chamonix.

Maison Terray is a fantastic apartment with extremely high end furnishings and appliances, the property is very spacious with a great location on the main street in Chamonix.

Antoine is a very friendly and helpful owner, with superb customer service throughout, we stayed for 10 days in Summer and were fortunate to have very good sunny and hot weather, for sports fans the Richard Bozon centre has a superb outdoor swimming pool. Great restaurants and cafes immediately on your doorstep.

The trip to Hellebronner via Aguille Du Midi is a fantatstic day trip with views which last forever.

We stayed as a family of four (two children aged 16 and 10) and will definitely be returning to this fantastic apartment and location.

Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen (bed spreads, duvet and cover, pillows, towels), changed weekly by our room service washed and ironed - 25 € TTC per bed. Linen can also be changed on demand (with 48 hours notice - 25 € TTC per bed). Other: Sauna, ski room with ski boots warmer, Washing machine and drier area.
