Las Mimosas is a popular and well-established complex with beautiful gardens and a gate opening onto the beach. There are many amenities including two large swimming pools, a children's pool, tennis courts, small football area and table-tennis room. There are large grassed areas, mature trees and well kept flower beds. Private off-road parking and security guards patrol the complex. It is a quiet location yet close to many bars and restaurants and only a ten minute level walk into the local town. The apartment is ground floor with lounge/dining area opening onto private patio. TV, DVD player, radio and CD player. The kitchen has recently been improved and is fully fitted with fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing-machine and microwave. Very suitable for family beachside holidays. New Promenade / Walkway now connects to the centre of La Cala and also to Riviera.

We are a family co-owning this apartment. Mother Kerstin, father Mats, son Fredrik and daughter Frida. We all live in Sweden but do try to visit Spain as often as we can!

We had for some years borrowed an apartment in La Cala de Mijas and fell in love with the area. The decision was easy when we found this lovely apartment in the Las Mimosas urbanization.

Activity and Interests
The Las Mimosas is located right on the beach. To access it there is a gate leading straight on to the beach. The beach stretches over the whole village of La Cala with a brand new beachside walkway that has been extended.
Malaga airport is 25km away - 25 minutes in a taxi. An alternative to a taxi is to get the train to Fuengirola and then it is only a 10 minute taxi ride. A car is not necessary as there are local shops and restaurants. The town of La Cala is only 10 minutes walk. There are also good bus connections.
Marbella and Puerto Banus are about 30 minutes drive. Fuengirola with zoo and water park is 10 minutes drive. Benalmadena with interesting marina and cable car is 20 minutes drive.
Many beach bars and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Closest supermarket 5 minutes walk. Various shops and internet cafe 5 minutes walk. Lovely newly refurbished park 5 minutes walk.
La Cala town has many banks, shops, bars, restaurants and supermarkets and is a level 10 minute walk - either along roads or the beach. Market days are Wednesdays and Saturdays.
- Booking Notes:
50% deposit paid at time of booking. Balance is payable 8 weeks before the holiday. £250 returnable damages deposit also required.
In the event of a cancellation, we will return the deposit only when a new booking has been made to fill the cancelled time. The returned funds will be at the rate of the new booking. We will also support any valid insurance claim.
We are flexible on changeover days and try to fit around our clients, making flights cheaper.

- There are two bathrooms. The main bathroom has a bathtub and is shared between the bedrooms. The second smaller bathroom is an en-suite shower room connected to the master bedroom.

- Outside: A large patio belongs to the apartment, there is also a small barbeque available to use. The patio has outdoor furniture and will lead out to one of the swimming pool areas. Utility Room: The utilities are in the kitchen. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: 1 set linen and a towel per person is included. The property will only be cleaned between clients neither the linen will be changed during the stay. However, there is a washing machine is available to use if linens or towels need cleaning.
