Apartment in Alvor, Western Algarve, Portugal - Brand New Fully Equipped 1 Bedroom Air-Conditioned Apartment Close To Centre Of Alvor

New in 2015 luxury 1 bedroom apartment situated in Albur Village, a secure peaceful complex, close to all Alvor amenities. Our apartment is in one of the best locations in Alvor – situated just a short stroll to the main restaurant and bar area but just far enough away to be quiet and have open views to the countryside. We regularly walk to the beach which comfortably takes less than 15 minutes.

Recently furnished by a specialist interior design company, the fully air-conditioned apartment provides a stylish holiday home allowing you to have the freedom to enjoy the many delights of Alvor. The accommodation is modern and has an open plan kitchen/dining area with the kitchen window looking directly out to the pool area.

Direct access to a large private balcony is from either the lounge or the bedroom and we have provided luxurious outdoor furniture for guests use. There is also a patio area directly outside the front door of the apartment where we have provided a small table and chairs for enjoying the afternoon/evening sun.

Spacious living area providing a comfortable and relaxing environment for up to 4 adults. The sofa can be easily turned into an extremely comfortable double bed and the sideboards provide sufficient storage for clothing. The apartment will sleep four with a flexible bedroom layout – either twin beds or zipped mattress to make a very large super-king bed. High quality bedding is provided to ensure maximum comfort.

The complex is completely secure and has a video entry system as well as allocated underground parking. Lifts are available to all floors but our apartment is on the same level as the pool and can be accessed without having to climb any stairs. The private fresh-water pool is located in the centre of the complex and therefore sheltered from the wind and making it a comfortable area to relax and enjoy the sun all year round.

Albur village is a recently developed complex of apartments which has everything needed for holidaymakers looking for quality modern apartments and facilities. The complex includes the largest and best supermarket in Alvor (Pingo Doce) and means that picking up those holiday essentials is both simple and cost effective. The supermarket even has its own bakery and café area and so breakfast is made simple.

About Pamela Kennedy

We are a married couple living near Glasgow in Scotland. We have one teenage son who has been enjoying holidays in Alvor since he was three when we first discovered the village.

Since then we have introduced many friends and family members who all seem to fall in love with the place just like we did.

Having rented private apartments for many years we finally decided to take the plunge and buy one for ourselves.

Why Pamela Kennedy chose Portimao region

We love Alvor and viewed many apartment complexes before we finally came across the new Albur Village development. We were immediately impressed with the quality of the property and the secure nature of the complex overall.

Since the property has only recently been completed, it is in better condition than some of the complexes that have been around for a while and we love the modern look of the apartment.

The location is also great - we didn't actually realise that the apartment is so close to the bars and restaurants and we enjoy the stroll down and back home in the evening.

What makes this apartment unique

Having the best supermarket in the village around the corner from the apartment is really convenient and ideal for guests. Saves walking with heavy bags full of supplies or having to take the car and it is ideal if you need to stock up with replacement drinks or just fancy a delicious rotisserie chicken or freshly baked bread from the bakery.

This is a fabulous modern apartment to base your stay in Alvor. The apartment is decorated to the highest standard, it's very clean, spacious and also fully equipped with every convenience. Situated in a quiet area of town but still only a few minutes walk to the town center and the wonderful beach. We were one of the first visitors to this apartment and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.... so much we've booked again for Easter. We would highly recommend this apartment to our friends. Notes on accommodation: The apartment has the luxury of all day sunshine with both a private balcony which benefits from the morning sun and a patio area at the front door which overlooks the pool and is perfect for a relaxing afternoon snack or evening cocktail before heading out. Outside: Large fresh water pool is located in the centre of the complex on the same level as the apartment. Sun bathing is available at the pool on the sun loungers provided. Well-tended gardens can be found throughout the complex. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Fresh towels, duvet covers and pillow cases are provided for each tenancy. Additional cleaning requirements can be discussed with our local management agents. Other: Laundry - a foldaway drying frame is provided with iron and ironing board. Security - safe provided in apartment Other- Good quality hair dryer provided. Beach towels provided for guests use. Please note this is a no smoking property.

Superb apartment with great access to beach and town

Superb ground floor apartment which is finished to the highest of standards. Has dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, cooler, oven, fridge freezer, hairdryer, iron and board, and wee luxuries of Molton brown shower gel and hand soap! Centrally located within walking distance of the beach and town. Pingo doce supermarket below the apartment block so no transport needed once in the resort. We were allowed in to the apartment as soon as we arrived which we really appreciated. Pamela was very easy to deal with so we will definitely be back.

Lovely apartment , great location

Apartment is presented very well.

Fabulous large balcony to the back of the apartment. Lovely space at front too that gets the evening sun.

Located above Pingo supermarket and only 5 minute walk to Alvor centre with plenty of bars and restaurants.

Beach we found to be a 15 minute walk.

Enjoyed a relaxing break at Albur Village.

Beautiful appartment

Just a week's break in Alvor but enjoyed it so much, the whole experience of booking the appartment and the support provided by Pamela was exceptional.

The appartment is immaculate and very well furnished with good quality items along with more than we could have imagined in terms of what was provided, also allowed us to travel very light.

Probably the best location in Alvor to access the hub of the village with a very short walk to some amazing gastro experiences.

Highly recommend and will be our first choice for future trips.

Modern and secure apartment in a great location

We stayed in this apartment as a family of three in August 2016. From our initial contact with Pam to enquire about booking to getting our deposit back we had no issues at all and everything went very smooth.

The apartment was very modern and had everything we needed, with the added touch of 2 bottles of wine waiting for us when we arrived.

The balcony was huge and we really enjoyed having our breakfast on it each morning. The TV was ok but mostly non English speaking channels, however we got round this by taking an Apple TV box, but your not there to watch TV anyway.

We had our own sunbeds and never had to fight or get up early for one. There is a massive supermarket below the complex which is the size of an average Aldi and sells everything you need, it was always full of locals so you knew it was value for money.

The walk into town is no longer than 10 minutes and there are plenty of bars and places to eat in lovely scenic locations.

We would definately recommend this apartment and Alvor for couples and families. We would also use these apartments again if we go back to Alvor.

Booking Notes:

All bookings will be secured by a 25% deposit with payment of the balance (plus security deposit) required no less than 8 weeks prior to the commencement of the let. The payment will not be refundable for a cancellation within the 8 week period prior to the commencement of the let.

A refundable damage deposit of £200 will be held and refunded to the client upon confirmation from our local management company that the property has not been damaged and has been left in a reasonable condition.

Changeover Day:
Our changeover day, if possible, is Saturday however we will try to be flexible. Access to the apartment will be from 4pm on the day of arrival and the apartment should be vacated by 10am at departure - again we will try to be flexible.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (British Pounds) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner
