Villa Valle Verde is a sunny detached villa located in a well established area of Calpe. The villa is tastefully furnished and set on a south facing elevated plot enjoying views of the sea. The villa is a short drive to Calpe town, which has an abundance of restaurants, shops and two beautiful beaches. There is also a harbour and small beach10-minutes walk away, with bar, restaurant, jetski and scuba diving facilities. The villa is on 3 levels with the top reserved for the owners who use the property occassionally, but leave the pool and grounds for guests when they may be resident.

About Alan Greenall

I am a professional City gent living in London with my wife. We purchased the property 7 years ago and use it extensively ourselves, particularly out of season.

We keep the top floor apartment for our private use, leaving the rest of the property for guests' use.

My wife is a designer and keen gardener, responsible for the well kept gardens and terraces.

This is our retirement house, which we are proud to keep well maintained.

Notes on accommodation: There is off-street parking for 2 cars Outside: There is a large covered outdoor summer kitchen, fully equipped, with a patio area for outside dining. Another patio close to the pool area has a sofa, airchairs and coffee table for relaxation. At the front there is a small patio with table and chairs, shaded in the morning and sunny in the late afternoon. The area surrounding the pool has 4 good quality sun beds, plus large parasols and small tables. A selection of pool 'toys' and 'floating aids' are available for children. Utility Room: There is a laundry room with 2 automatic washing machines, a double sink, a clothes drying frame and a WC Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are changed weekly. The property is cleaned between lets . If the property is let for two weeks a mid-clean can be arranged by prior arrangement. There is a poolman who visits twice per week. Other: Outside the lounge is a covered dining area 'Naya', overlooking the pool and with sea views, with dining table and 6 chairs

Made for outdoor summer living

I fully agree with the earlier review from July 2016.

We found the Villa clean and tidy, the villa is just made for outdoor summer living, centred around the super 9 x4 metre pool, and the surrounding patio areas, from the covered naya with views across the rooftops to the sea, the outdoor kitchen with cooker, sink and fridge/freezer, the patio with the “streetlamp”, plus the pool level loo and utility room and the front patio surrounded by the gardens.

The inside of the apartment is well furnished and we were very comfortable at night with the air conditioned bedroom. In early September 2016 the days were very hot, in the high 30’s.

The kitchen is bit compact, but we take a holiday from cooking and eat out most of the time. We preferred the “Old Town” with restaurant tables in the narrow streets.

Alan is a good communicator and provides a rental contract plus a detailed route to drive to the villa. At the villa is a house book with details of the villa amenities and info of the town.

Stunning Villa in beautiful location

We had an amazing time in Calpe in this villa. The Villa was very well equipped with the most stunning views. There was plenty of helpful information in the folder to allow us to explore Calpe. The Villa was clean and tidy with all the equipment needed to provide a home to home experience. The outside garden area is stunning. There is so much room outside from the outdoor kitchen and bbq area to the side patio area and front patio area. We sat around the front of the Villa during the early evenings and admired the beautiful garden, a real sun trap. The Pool is large and the kids had a ball. Plenty of room around the pool area with loungers and umbrellas. There is an outside room with washing maching, toilet and plenty of equipment for the kids for the pool and beach. We needed a car to get around and explore Calpe. There are plenty of good restaurants at the beach front and the beach itself beside the Rock is stunning. Overall we had an amazing time in this villa and would highly recommend to anyone considering booking. Thank you again Alan and Mary Ann for providing great service and a great holiday.

The closest beach (Puerto Blanco) is a pebble and sand beach next to a small but charming marina with bar and restaurant facilities, 10 mins walk.

The 2 main Calpe beaches are: 1- Playa Arenal, approximately 1,200-1,400 metres, 10 mins drive; 2 - Playa Levante/La Fossa (north of the Peñon de Ifach) about 900 metres, 10 mins drive.

Both beaches have Fine sand, Blue Flag, Lifeguard, promenade, sunbeds and brollies, children’s play areas, loos, sports area, foot bath and pedal boats.


The nearest airport is Alicante, 80 Km away. An alternate airport is Valencia, 130 Km away. Car hire/use of a car is recommended


Calpe town centre is 10 mins drive. Benidorm is 25 mins drive.

The standard changeover day is Saturday. Alternate days may be available at additional cost. Check in time is 2pm, Check-out time is 11am

Prices are based on a standard changeover day of Saturday. For different start or end dates contact the owners.

Our prices are calculated for 2-weeks-booking or more. For a 1-week-booking there is a service charge of £50.

Prices include bed linens and towels, electricity and water consumption as well as the final cleaning.

A 25% deposit is required to confirm a booking, with the balance payable 6 weeks prior to arrival together with a £250 security deposit.
