About the property

House in Saundersfoot, Pembrokeshire, Wales - Peaceful Location, 10 Minutes Walk To The Beach, Harbour, Restaurants, Pubs and Shops.

The house has five bedrooms; four on the first floor with one bedroom (the Cabin room) accessed via the master bedroom's dressing room - an ideal family suite. The Master bedroom is provided with a King size bed and has an ensuite bathroom - bath with overhead shower and toilet. Both the Master and bedroom 3 (the blue room), a double, have access to the front balcony with views of Saundersfoot village and the Coast. Bedroom 4 (the Garden room) is a double with views of the garden. The fifth bedroom is on the ground floor in the annex with ensuite shower room and toilet. There are a total of three bathrooms, 2 with a bath and an over head shower and one shower room. In addition there is a downstairs toilet and wash hand basin. The large family Kitchen/diner is fully equipped and tends to become the hub of the house. The lounge is spacious and comfortable with countryside views. The downstairs annex has a sitting room with television and PS3, a selection of games and books are available. The house is a great location for the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, scenic cycle rides (both road and off road routes) and fabulous beach walks. There is an OS map of the area in the house and a collection of suggestions for cycle and run routes through quiet countryside and coastal paths. Whether you wish to take on the Pembrokeshire Iron Man route or a more sedate stroll or cycle there are routes for everyone.

We, Lorraine and Sutha thoroughly enjoy getting out and enjoying the outdoors. Lorraine was very lucky to live in Saundersfoot and enjoy the wonderful environment of Pembrokeshire as a child, moving away to study and work. Sutha has a passion for photography and loves the photographic opportunities that Saundersfoot and the surrounding area have to offer. Lorraine's great passion for horses and horse racing is one that she now shares with Sutha. We both enjoy sport, participating in the odd fun run, half marathon or novice triathlon.

We adore Saundersfoot and Pembrokeshire. We brought the house to escape to and enjoy. The house is in a great location for the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, scenic cycle rides(both road and off road) & fabulous beach walks. We have an OS map of the area in the house & a collection of our suggestions for cycle and run routes through quiet scenic countryside and stunning coastal paths. Whether you want to take on the Pembrokeshire Iron Man route or a more sedate stroll or cycle there are routes for everyone. To be able to walk to fabulous restaurants, pubs, shops, stunning beaches, an attractive harbour and neighbouring coastal villages is superb. Saundersfoot is a short drive to many additional activities and trips for children and adults, so many interesting places to visit and enjoy.

What makes this house unique

What is so wonderful about the house is how spacious it is; the annex has a sitting room with a television and dvd player - an ideal room to use as a children's den or for teenagers to escape to, most importantly adults have space to relax and unwind. The master bedroom with ensuite and the access to a bedroom is an ideal family suite option, particularly when sharing the house with friends.

The garden is nicely set out, terraced with a patio and summerhouse to chill out out on a balmy evening. Have a BBQ or enjoy a glass of wine sitting outside the summerhouse taking in the view, or look out over the village and coastline first thing in the morning with a cup of tea or coffee, just captivating.

The house is in a peaceful location yet within a 10 minute walk to all Saundersfoot has to offer.

The glorious sandy Blue Flag Beaches and various coastal walks are less than 10 minutes walk from the house.

Cardiff Airport - 92.7 miles takes 2 hrs approx. Saundersfoot Train Station - Not within walking distance, advised to continue to Tenby Train station and take a taxi or possibly bus to Saundersfoot. M4 Cardiff - 69.9 miles takes 1 hour 44 mins approx. London 235 miles 4 hrs approx. Birmingham 192 miles 3hrs 25 mins approx.

Notes on accommodation: Saundersfoot View House is a spacious detached house with the benefit of a garden, a wonderful outside area for a BBQ or just relaxing and chilling out. Saundersfoot View House and the surrounding area is for those that want to unwind and enjoy the outdoors, so much to explore and discover. Christmas and New Year are wonderful, the village Christmas decorations and tree adding to the really festive atmosphere. The New Years Eve fireworks from the Harbour are spectacular and the incredible New Years Day Swim so much fun to watch if you would rather not participate. Parking is almost impossible, so thankfully Saundersfoot View guests can have a stroll down and take in the amazing fancy dress participants. The Iron Man Wales is incredible, a main feature of the cycle route 'Heartbreak Hill' can be viewed just a five to 10 minute walk from the house. Whether participating or spectating in the event special deals over an extended weekend maybe possible, please contact us. Outside: There is a well set out private garden, partly terraced with a patio BBQ area and summerhouse with seating at the rear of the property. Utility Room: Washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer, separate sink, iron and ironing board. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bath towels, hand towels, bed linen are included. Guest's are requested that they bring there own beach towels. The house is given a thorough clean with fresh bed linen and towels supplied before the arrival of guests. Other: The downstairs annex has a sitting room with a television and PS3. A selection of DVD's PS3 games and books are available for guests to use during their stay.

It was just right for our family

the house was so spacious, so if you needed peace and quiet you could sneak off somewhere!!! The weather wasn't on our side for our week, but we managed a couple of afternoons/evenings in the garden sat outside the summer house. All in all we would recommend Lawnswood.

Every facility, spacious, beautiful views. Very quiet spot. Very friendly and helpful owner. Very clean. Hamper waiting for us and a welcome card. Visited different places within easy reach of property. Saundersfoot beach, shops and good food. Found 2 lovely restaraunts Beach House and Hidden Gem. Didn't want to leave.

Bookings can be made by telephone or email. 20% of the rental (non-refundable) is due within 7 days of booking, with the balance due within 6 weeks of the holiday. A £150 (refundable) deposit is required. Payment can be either by cheque of BACs payment.

Changeover Day:
Arrival and departure day is general a Saturday, to arrive after 3.00 pm and depart before 10.00 am.
Following confirmation from the owners the arrival and departure day and time maybe adjusted during mid and low season upon request from a guest.

REDUCED May 30th-June 20th £700.00 per week or a 3 night weekend break £450.00
