About the Owner

We, Lorraine and Sutha thoroughly enjoy getting out and enjoying the outdoors. Lorraine was very lucky to live in Saundersfoot and enjoy the wonderful environment of Pembrokeshire as a child, moving away to study and work. Sutha has a passion for photography and loves the photographic opportunities that Saundersfoot and the surrounding area have to offer. Lorraine's great passion for horses and horse racing is one that she now shares with Sutha. We both enjoy sport, participating in the odd fun run, half marathon or novice triathlon.

Spacious, flexible accommodation, wonderful views

  • 5 of 5

The views of the coast and valley are spectacular and a lovely way to start each day. The property is very large, providing the space and flexibility for larger groups to spend time together or find a peaceful spot to relax. The master bedroom set up - with en suite, dressing area and second bedroom was ideal for my younger son, my wife and I - and the annex area downstairs was a great space for our older daughters to chill out, with own TV etc. Lorraine was a super host and we appreciated the lovely hamper on arrival. Thank you for a lovely stay and we look forward to coming back soon!

Spacious property with good layout.

  • 5 of 5

Made to feel welcome with a hamper and a friendly note on our arrival. Well laid out, clean and spacious house with more than adequate facilities.

Amazing views over Saundersfoot bay. Any issues we had were dealt with promptly and efficiently. Good variety of places in the town to eat out. An ideal base for exploring the Pembrokeshire coast. Drive is steep but not a problem as we got 5 cars on the driveway. A good place for a family get together.

16 - 23 July 2016.

Perfect in every way!

  • 5 of 5

Stayed here for a weekend with a family of 10 of us. This property was perfect. A big property with everything you could need! The Welcome basket was very much welcomed. What beautiful rooms, especially the ones with sea views. Such a quiet location and only 10 minutes walk down the hill to wonderful Saundersfoot, where you can find Spar, Tesco and a number of fish and chip shops and gift shops. The children absolutely loved the garden to play hide and seek.

We only had one hiccup whilst there - there was a beeping we could not work out where it was coming from and instantly Lorraine called round. We discovered it is a feature of the cooker hob - if you leave anything on top of the cooker it will alert you by beeping!! Lorraine is a fantastic host and has the most wonderful property. Will definitely look to return next year!!!

Brilliant house in an excellent location. Thoroughly recommend!

  • 5 of 5

We were lucky enough to rent the house for my 30th birthday party. It is in a spectacular location with excellent views over the bay.

The house itself is huge and seems to go on and on. The house is really well presented and I would definitely consider visiting again either with friends or family.

The owner Lorraine is brilliant and lives very close by. We managed to lock ourself out of the house within 5 minutes of being there (take the key with you) and Lorraine was there in a shot!

I will definitely be returning in the future, thoroughly recommend!

Perfect holiday home

  • 5 of 5

Had a brilliant weekend at your house. Plenty of room for 10. Kitchen was well equipped with all facilities. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Driveway is very steep, however it was possible to park at side of road so not a problem.

Would definitely book again and recommend to friends and family wanting to visit Saundersfoot.

Facilities

From the Owner

What is so wonderful about the house is how spacious it is; the annex has a sitting room with a television and dvd player - an ideal room to use as a children's den or for teenagers to escape to, most importantly adults have space to relax and unwind. The master bedroom with ensuite and the access to a bedroom is an ideal family suite option, particularly when sharing the house with friends. The garden is nicely set out, terraced with a patio and summerhouse to chill out out on a balmy evening. Have a BBQ or enjoy a glass of wine sitting outside the summerhouse taking in the view, or look out over the village and coastline first thing in the morning with a cup of tea or coffee, just captivating. The house is in a peaceful location yet within a 10 minute walk to all Saundersfoot has to offer.
