Great location, great views, lovely apartment with great facilities.

This apartment is very well kept, it has great facilities which are all in order. The location of the apartment means you are a short walk from Balcon de Europe and Burriana Beach. The restaurants and cafes directly around the apartment mean that you can have lovely traditional Spanish food at a fraction of the cost and in a much more relaxed manner to those on the Balcon or on the Beach front; although these are worth a trip for a treat. We always went to town/beach for a lovely ice cream/Rioja Blanco mainly for a nosey and also as our son really enjoys trying all the different flavour ice cream. We found the more local restaurants to the apartment had the nicest food and we always aim to eat later in the evening so as to soak up the culture and atmosphere. Knowing 'poco' Spanish also helps get you on a little further. Do go to the beach for some Gambis Pil Pil or a sea bass, these are beautiful. Every morning we went up to the bakery for croissant or pain au chocolate and baguette for our lunch, these too were extremely lovely, as is the melon!!

We found the apartment to be very comfortable and well presented, you can tell it is a loved apartment and the owners really have ensured you have everything you need. We would fully recommend staying here.

The beaches are great fun and my son and I both had lots of fun body boarding on the waves. The views of the Mediterranean are stunning from the apartment and I was able to watch the meteor shower with the sea lapping in the background, there is little light pollution allowing you to take advantage of the clear skies. Great location, stunning views, lovely apartment

Great apartment. Very good size with very well equipped kitchen and spacious living area. Comfortable sofas, tv, Internet and everything you would have at home made our stay enjoyable. Balcony has stunning views out to sea and Burriana beach to the left. You can sit and watch all the water activities such as jet ski, parasailing, pedal boats.

Excellent location, very close to beaches, tourist areas, shops, restaurants and mini market.

No air conditioning - did not really bother me and the children. There are ceiling fans in the rooms and a breeze from the sea.

Very enjoyable holiday in the apartment and Nerja.

Lovely apartment in great location

The apartment was modern and very spacious, with a great sea view from the balcony, and the complex has a delightful pool and garden area. The location is perfect, just a short walk into the old town of Nerja with its many restaurants, shops and beaches.

We were, however, very disappointed that there was no air conditioning, as the property was described as having this on the website and to be honest I would not have booked it in June had I known it was not available, hence only 4 stars. The owner has since apologised and said this was an error in the description on the Owners Direct website.

If you don't mind the lack of air con, or are booking in the cooler seasons, I would definitely recommend this lovely apartment.

lovely apartment

the apartment was very spacious, very clean & had everything we needed for our holiday. The view from our balcony was great. it's in a great location for walking into town and also within easy reach of all the beaches.

Good size apartment.

Everything you need.

Try the corner restaurants nearby.

Car parking nearby is very difficult so best to buy a weekly pass in huge car park along the road...5 mins walk.

Activity and Interests


The beach, La Catelilla which leads onto Burianna beach is only 2 minutes walk via some steps to the side of apartment complex. Burianna beach has a variety of restaurants including Ayo's famous for its paella, it can be accessed by car.

There are a variety of beaches/coves within easy walking distance.


Malaga international airport is the nearest approx 45 minutes by car. Taxis can be booked in advance with a registered local company. There is a regular bus service from the airport to the main bus station in Malaga where you can catch a bus directly to Nerja. Car hire is not essential as most of Nerja can be reached by walking. However there are plenty of car hire centres in Nerja and at the airport. There are good local bus services to neighbouring towns and villages.


The bustling old town Nerja is just 5 mins away with its magnificent views of the rugged coastline from the famous Balcon de Europe. The coastal village of Maro and the famous caves of Nerja are just 10/15 mins by car. The award winning white village of Frigiliana is 15 mins by car. There is a water park for children at Torre de Mar only 20 mins by car and close by to that is a large shopping Mall. The wonderful famous Alhambra Palace in Granada is 1 hr 40 mins drive.

You will find numerous restaurants and tapas bars, none of which seem to attract noisy behaviour, many of which are frequented by the Spanish as much as other visitors to Nerja. +In central Nerja that are many banks and cash points and those who love shopping there are very exquisite shops. There are a couple of good local supermarkets only 2 mins from the apartment and a good national chain in and around Nerja. Local people and businesses have prospered through tourism but the town is unspoiled and has kept its charm with its warmth and friendliness.
