Cottage in Newquay, Cornwall, England
'64 Atlantic Reach' is on the Atlantic Reach Resort, which is very child-friendly, with controls to prevent rentals to groups of under 30 year olds & single sex groups. The property is ideally located for exploring the many attractions Cornwall has to offer, with the Eden Project 16 miles away, Padstow (Rick Stein's four restaurants) 12 miles away and Watergate Bay (Jamie Oliver's Fifteen restaurant) 7 miles away. The site is set in 50 acres of rural countryside and provides premier facilities including a modern leisure complex which includes a fully equipped gym & fitness studios, Pirate Pete's soft play, a new recreational 9 hole golf course, tennis courts, conference suite, functions areas, indoor pool, cafe, bar, restaurant, entertainment complex, seasonal outdoor pool, and a new spa facility, “Indigo Spa”, with five treatment rooms. Open all year round, the on-site facilities offer a wide range of activities to suit everyone’s tastes, Atlantic Reach is ideally located to make the most of what Cornwall has to offer. Helen, We had yet another wonderful holiday. It always helps if you get plenty of time on the beach! The picnic table was there! We enjoyed many evenings discussing what tomorrow would bring with a beer on the picnic table. Thank you

Hello Helen. We had a super holiday thank you and found the property suited our needs very well. It was comfortable, spacious (even with 4 young adults) and very clean. The manor restaurant and bar was very nice and staff very friendly. We are certainly considering returning next year. Just trying to sort out our dates! Many thanks for helping to make our holiday an enjoyable one. Regards

We were very well pleased with our accommodation. There was everything we needed and it was all of good quality and very clean. The only small quibbles were concerned with the building itself - a few light bulbs needed replacing and two doors did not close properly. I would certainly recommend this property to others.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Atlantic Reach. No.64 was the perfect base for us to explore Cornwall. The property was very modern, clean and well-looked after. There was plenty of room with lots of handy storage space. Everything we needed was there and we were also able to hire an extra travel cot and high chairs. The place was very comfortable to stay in. The indoor leisure facilities were a good standard and the children enjoyed the indoor pool and soft play area. Thanks for a great holiday.

We had a fabulous long weekend here. The house is really lovely and there is loads of room, even with a houseful like we had! Comfy sofas and beds, good showers and jacuzzi bath. Great location on the resort, seconds away from the pool. Nice space to sit and play outside. Would highly recommend the house.

We spent a fantastic week at this house on the Atlantic reach site during the June School holidays. The house was immaculately clean - even the cooking equipment - so no need to dishwasher everything first !!! Beds were really comfy and plenty of space in all the bedrooms. Showers lovely and the children loved the Jacuzzi bath. We were a bit concerned about the weather as it had been so rainy, but actually only had two wet days and even managed to sit outside at the patio table to eat on a few days- very relaxing !! The owners have left a selection of games in the house, which my children, aged 13, 11 and 6 enjoyed , and my eldest son even managed to teach the younger 2 chess !! The site is well kept and we enjoyed the indoor swimming pool- (clean and warm with life guards in attendance), which is also very near the house. The children liked the play area which was well kept and we played a family game of golf too. Staff at the resort were always helpful and friendly, especially Michaela on reception, who managed to track down my 6 year olds lost glasses and bring them to us at the pool and also the lady at the launderette. House is well placed for exploring the area and we particularly enjoyed Falmouth- great beach and town, St Michaels Mount and the Eden project , although we went here on a rainy day so it was particularly busy. We emailed the owners to book the house and for some details before we went and they were always really helpful and friendly. Overall we had a great week and would recommend this house.

I had spent a long time trawling the internet trying to find the right holiday home in Cornwall for 4 adults and 4 children at Easter, so when I booked 64 Atlantic Reach, I was a little nervous about what to expect and whether it could cater to all our needs. I didn't need to worry about a thing! 64 Atlantic Reach exceeded our expectations considerably! Whilst it looks a bit small from the outside, all the rooms including bedrooms and bathrooms are very spacious and there is a real feeling of space in the open plan kitchen / dining area / lounge. The kitchen was really well equipped which was great for us because we cooked most nights, it was like the Waltons! It helped that there was a large fridge freezer and the godsend, a dishwasher. The lounge area was great, with a fabulous large flat screen TV and games and books in case we had forgotten ours. Bathrooms were modern and suited our needs and there was enough storage space in the bedrooms. Everything was meticulously clean and the whole holiday home passed the inspection of Kim and Aggie, AKA Aggie and Pete, who are obsessed with cleanliness :) Outside the patio area is nice and we spent quite a bit of time there having a drink and watching the kids play on the grass. As for the resort of Atlantic Reach, whilst is not the most modern of resorts it had a great pool which was never busy (remember we were there at Easter!) and a lovely Spa which we took advantage of. There is also a soft play centre, restaurant, bar and tennis courts which we didn't use. The resort is located in an ideal spot, a short drive away from everything, so location is perfect. I would 100% recommend this holiday home and we will be back. Thanks to Helen and Marcus!

We have always loved Cornwall and when the opportunity arose at the end of 2011 to purchase 64 Atlantic Reach we knew we had to buy it.

Lovely clean house, plenty of space and very comfortable beds. We enjoyed our holiday at 64 Atlantic reach - lots to do on site and very close to Newquay. Would definitely recommend the onsite restaurant as we had 2 delicious meals there.
From the Owner
“We knew it needed a full refurbishment and we wanted it to be a real home from home. We redecorated and re-fitted it out completely with all new ultra comfy beds, leather sofas, TV etc. and finished it with a seaside themed interior décor. We love coming here and want our guests to enjoy the house as much as we do.”
