About Richard Gowers

We moved to the South Hams in 2013 and renovated our property to a high standard. We both work locally and kids are at local schools . We love going to the beach as much as possible to mainly Surf or Kitesurf. We also love to Bike and Walk along the Coast path

We bought this property to live in the South Hams close to the beach and great schools for the kids.We love the house as it is mainly wood construction and super dry and warm. It is also located high up which kind of reminds me of a ski chalet with a great view and South facing.

We are close to the beach of South Milton / Thurlestone

Thurlestone Golf club , Bantham Beach for surfing , Salcombe for sailing , shopping and eating. Kingsbridge for everything else !

There are space for two vehicles on hardstanding .There are Limestone steps that lead down to the front door . There are gravel paths that lead round the property with a side gate- the rear garden is fully enclosed ideal for small children or animals. To the rear - South Facing is a flat lawned area and the house can be accessed via the decking. Large decking with garden furniture. Utility Room: Standard Freezer, Washing Machine and Dryer Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Can be arranged - please let us know your requirements Other: Large open hallway and storage cupboards Dedicated drip tray for wetsuits and wet boots in Utility area Free Wifi

A fantastic property for families with amazing views of the Devonshire countryside.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was clean and characterful and only a stones throw from the most beautiful beaches. The house had lots of pleasant surprises such as a washing machine, a dryer and a cupboard full of baking ingredients and equipment which entertained the children on a rainy afternoon. The only downside was the very steep narrow drive to the house, however after a few times of doing it it did get easier. We will definitely return to this property.

We had a great week in a beautiful house, ideally situated for exploring the South Hams. The house is spacious for a family of 6. A good selection of board games for raining days and beach toys as well. Lovely views of fields. No hesitation recommending this house for a family holiday. Great location and facilities.
