Villa in Quesada, Costa Blanca South, Spain - Quiet Residential Area, 5 Minutes Walk To Shops, Bars And Restaurants, 10 Drive Minutes To Beach

Villa Blanca is an attractive 3-bedroom south-facing villa with superb views towards the salt lakes of La Mata and Torrevieja. Ideally situated offering a quiet location within a residential area and easy accessibility to many amenities including bars, restaurants, supermarket, pharmacy and medical centre, all just a few minutes walk away. The accommodation comprises a spacious lounge with a settee and two armchairs and the dining area seats six comfortably. The living / dining room is complete with digital TV receiving BBC1, 2, ITV1, Ch4, Ch5, movie and news channels, a DVD player and Radio/CD player. There is also a selection of family DVDs and a small library of books and board games for guests use. The Lounge/Diner leads to a well-equipped American style kitchen with fridge-freezer, electric oven and hob, microwave and the usual kitchen equipment, cutlery and crockery for more than six people. From the kitchen there are French doors leading to the Terrace and outside dining area with its built in BBQ and overlooking the private pool. The villa has three bedrooms, one double and two twins. The master bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobes and an en suite. From the bedroom there are French doors on to the other end of the terrace catching the morning sun. There are two twin bedrooms, both with fitted wardrobes and share the family bathroom. There are two bathrooms, the main bathroom is complete with bath and overhead shower and one en suite to the master bedroom with an enclosed fully-tiled shower cubicle. The garden and pool area are on the same level including a large patio with sun loungers. The large kidney shaped swimming pool is 10m x 6m and central to a well stocked garden with mature citrus, apricot, peach and palm trees. The garden is in flower throughout the year with bougainvillea adding that all important Mediterranean charm. Less than a 5 minute walk from the villa is the local Gama Supermarket stocked with many brands from the UK as well as Local produce. Close to the supermarket are a small number of bars/restaurants including English, Spanish, Chinese and Italian cuisine. All just a few minutes stroll from the villa but far enough away not to be a nuisance. The town centre of Quesada with its supermarkets, medical centre, pharmacy and a great variety of bars and restaurants are all within a leisurely 15 minute walk. The Lakes of La Mata and Torrevieja dominate the countryside around Quesada with many of the country roads lined with orange and lemon groves. The nearest golf course is the Marquesa Golf & Country Club just 5 minutes drive away. Other courses nearby include Villa Martin, Los Ramblas and La Finca. There are miles of sandy beaches along the southern Costa Blanca, the nearest being the wonderful Blue Flag beaches at Guardamar. There are two Aqua Parks, one here in Quesada and the other in Torrevieja. The vibrant coastal town of Torrevieja and the excellent beaches at Guardamar are just a 10-15 minute drive. Torrevieja is a good shopping centre with a new shopping Mall and host to many familiar stores. Add a nightly street market, a pedestrianised seafront with plenty of superb restaurants, a busy port and new marina and you can see why it is such a popular holiday destination for Spanish people from inland Spain.

We live in the South East of England and have been married for over 40 years.. We have a grown-up family and are blessed with four grandchildren aged between 3 month and 5 years.

We have had many happy family holidays here and to see the grandchildren playing in the pool or on the fantastic beaches of Guardamar is a lovely lasting memory.

We look forward to visiting Quesada where we have many new friends.

We love this area of Spain for its all year round sun and micro climate.

Why Sally White chose Ciudad Quesada

We love the cosmopolitan feel to Quesada and the award winning design of the town.

In 1998 we were fortunate to have found a plot of land in a prime flat area of Quesada. The villa was built to our specification and is in a quiet residential area.

It benefits from stunning uninterrupted views of the salt lakes of La Mata and Torrevieja.

What makes this villa unique

The property overlooks uninterrupted views of the La Mata salt lake and nature reserve.

It was important to us to be close to many facilities in the area and as a result we are within a 5 minute walk of a health centre, supermarket, bars, restaurants and a pharmacy.

Banks, gift shops more bars and restaurants are about a 3 minute drive away in Quesada Town Centre

There are many golf courses on the South Costa Blanca, the nearest being the Marquesa Golf and Country Club just 10 minutes drive away.

There is also an Aqua Park on Quesada that opens from June to September.

Outside: The villa has a large shaded south facing terrace with built in BBQ and table and 6 chairs for outside dining and overlooks the pool and garden. French doors access the kitchen at one end and the master bedroom at the other. The large private kidney shaped swimming pool is 10m x 6m. It has walk in steps and is about 1m deep at the shallow end and 2m at the deep end. It is professionally cleaned twice a week. There are sun loungers for use by the pool and patio area and a table and recliner chairs. The whole property is screened by either a high wall or thick hedging Utility Room: Washing Machine, ironing board, iron, clothes airer, Water Heater. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bedding, hand and bath towels are provided but PLEASE bring your own beach and pool towels. For guests on a 2 week stay the linen is changed at the end of your first week.

Lovely, clean villa, superb pool

The villa is in lovely condition, very well looked after. Sally's communication before our stay was brilliant and all instructions were easy to follow. The villa is well equipped, we weren't short of any cooking implements or equipment.

The pool in this villa is one of the best we have stayed at, nice and clean and safe for the kids. There are even inflatables and some toys to use.

The shop within walking distance is good. We only shopped from there during the whole 10 days! Also it was nice to have a good restaurant in walking distance.

We had a great relaxing holiday at this villa. It would be nice to have an instruction manual for the villa, and some maps etc about the local area, but we soon worked things out for ourselves. Thanks Sally for letting us stay at your beautiful villa, I'm sure we will be back!

Family breal july 2016

Villa was exactly as described, a small but very useful welcome pack was provided. The pool was a delight especially for the Grandchildren, ("Victor Meldrew") the neighbour complained of the joyous shriek's, distrubing his siesta. we ignored him as the following morning he had some Spainish radio station on full bore 08.00ish. That aside the villa is spot on, close to (walking) a supermarket & bars, with a small play park.15mins drive or so from Torry & Guardama etc. Did'nt need for anything, even had a "Vera" shopping trolley, very useful.Loads of various toys for the

kids. Sally sent all the info & keys out in plenty of time, responded to emails promptly. The whole place was clean & tidy, the pool was spotless, could'nt fault anything. Thank you Sally.

Fantastic stay in a beautiful villa

Our stay in the villa was absolutely perfect. There were 5 of us that stayed in the villa and there was plenty of room for us all. The villa has everything in there you need including a BBQ! The pool was brilliant too and in a pretty garden, all enclosed. The villa is lovely and well mantained and in a lovely area. There is a bar and supermarket within walking distance and the main entrance to Quesada not too far with more bars, restaurants and shops. Sally has been brilliant to speak to and always replied to any questions I had. We had an amazing stay here for a surprise trip to quesada for my Dads 60th and would recommend to anyone. Many thanks again! Tracy

Did everything we wanted. Great pool with loads of space to sit around. Wifi and good kitchen

We enjoyed a good stay in this villa. We wanted good size pool, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, wifi, TV, parking, 2 bathrooms, garden, to be able to eat inside or outside, comfortable settee, sunshine, shop close by, little noise. This villa supplied all these. The great views from the veranda and the helpfulness and efficiency of the owner were an added bonus. We would recommend this villa.

This is a beautiful property, well maintained and brilliantly equipped.

The villa itself, is situated in a very quiet & peacful area, but is still within easy walking distance to the nearby supermarket, restaurants & bars. Ideal for those who don't wish to drive, or simply enjoy a gentle & easy stroll in the Spanish sunshine.

Our party of four, had hours of fun in the beautiful, spacious pool. The pool itself is lit at night, which we found to be very relaxing, whilst sitting on the terrace, which overlooks the pool area. The colourful flowers that drape the terrace gave a real classy & unique feel to the experience.

The garden has an array of different plants & flowers, which also make this villa stand out.

All-in-all, this place is an absolute gem, and one our party look forward to returning to, for many years to come

Very good villa

Just returned home from a lovely holiday, the villa was very clean and all you could want in a villa. Like home from home we needed a little help with the tv and the owner was quick to reply , the only one thing we missed was air con but fans were there. The bars provided a good selection of meals , and all within a short walk ..

There are some beautiful Blue Flag beaches here and just 10 minutes drive from the villa. Most beaches have designated parking areas.

There are many restaurants along the seafront and it has a nightly street market in the summer.


Playa del Cura, Torrevieja is about 20 minutes drive.

The town comes alive in the evening with many restaurants, bars, shops and a nightly street market complimented by its beautiful vibrant promenade.


Quesada is about 45 km from both Alicante and Murcia (San Javier) airports and the journey time is about 40 minutes.

A taxis will cost approximately 50euros each way.

It is advisable to have a car for convenience but not essential.

We are pleased to advise on car hire or taxis if required


The towns of Rojales and Benijofar are about 10 minutes drive away. Both have street markets and boast a number of restaurants and tapas bars.

On the way you will pass a large bazaar selling everything from fridge magnets and souvenirs to beach toys and clothing.
