The Don Joaquin apartments are down a small quiet road and is a residential complex mainly catering for couples and families. Main bedroom with king sized bed has fitted wardrobes and access onto private balcony which is not overlooked. Family bathroom with 4 piece suite. Second bedroom with twin beds and own shower room and toilet facilities. Large lounge area which contains 3 sofa's one of which is a 2 seater sofa bed. Benalmadena Apartment

My family and I stayed in this apartment for 10 days in July 2023. The apartment is in a very central location & close by to shops & restaurants. The beach was 15 minutes walk away. There is a communal swimming pool, however it was too deep for my 6 year old son (even though he can swim) and there unfortunately is no shallow end. There were sun loungers & chairs that you could take to the pool area if you wanted to sunbathe which was very handy. The apartment was very well equipped with everything you need including an all important washing machine. There is a balcony with a table & chairs where you can sit & relax however the balcony does not get the sun. My mum slept in the second bedroom & felt that the mattresses on the single beds were a bit lumpy & could do with being replaced as they weren’t very comfortable. The bed in the main bedroom was fine & both showers in the two bathrooms were very good with a powerful supply of hot water. Brian the host was very quick to respond to any queries I had & overall we had a great stay. Thank you.

Very disappointed

The apartment was: - not clean - interior wardrobes were dirty and stored outside furniture, push chairs etc, so not suitable for storing clothes - very cold as the apartment and terrace received no sun at all - no heating provided, it cost €1 for two hours, not mentioned in the on-line advertisement. - kitchen utensils were dirty and/or cracked, so we had to buy some utensils and dishes. - towels were inadequate so we bought new ones. We notified the property manager very soon after we arrived, maybe two days later. Contrary to our opinion he had been told the apartment was fit for incoming guests and said we had never asked if the apartment or terrace received any sun. He also said the advertisement stated the need to pay for heat but I have checked several times and did not see that mentioned. He offered us a refund for unused days and we moved out two days later to a sunny apartment with sea views with heating included and enjoyed the rest of our stay. Although it ruined my husband’s birthday, which was during the first few days in Benalmadena we are grateful to the host for motivating us to find a lovely flat in a great neighbourhood we hope to return to.

Excellent Location

Great holiday. Plenty of information from hosts. Ideally located within walking distance of Torremolinos, The Marina, Benalmadena Costa and Arroyo De La Miel. Walking distance also to many bus routes and the train station for traveling further afield. Apartment provided everything you could need with has lovely pool area. Would love to return in the future.

We have just returned from a lovely holiday.

We found hosts very informative, and the location of the flat was in a residential area of benalmadina, close by was supermarket Lidl, the apartment was clean and spacious for the 3 of us, all mod cons, pool was lovely and well maintained garden areas. Hoping to return. Thank you for letting us stay, the Campbell Girls. 2/8/2022.

We have had this apartment since 2005 and have never regretted buying it. We have had some great times there with all the family and grand children. There is plenty of attractions for all ages which are mostly walking distance from the apartment.

The apartment we think is in the right location. Peaceful and very close to all that you want on a holiday. You can do as much as you want to do while staying here or as little or nothing its your choice.

Close to Malaga Airport just 15 minutes drive away. We have SUPERFAST FIBRE OPTIC Broadband Internet and WiFi in the apartment and all the English TV Channels plus a full sports package. So bring all your devices on holiday and keep in contact with family and friends back home.
