About Rosie Bloor

My name is Rosie & I am married to Phil & have a son called Will & a lively dog called Rusty.

Rosie Bloor purchased this cottage in 2014

Why Rosie Bloor chose Anglesey

We fell in love with Anglesey, many years ago. In the summer, the beautiful beaches remind us of times spent in Portugal, but unlike Portugal, there are very few places where you can sit on a beautiful, quiet sandy beach and see the farmers harvesting their crops on the coastline. Rusty adores the sea.

If the weather is not so good, there is plenty to do with all the beautiful villages and the coastal footpath that joins them together.

Because of this love of the Island we purchased this quaint old cottage in the quiet hamlet of Parc. We would love others to share our passion for the Island and our cottage.

What makes this cottage unique

Our cottage is only a short drive to Lligwy beach. It's location is ideal with villages close by, such as Moelfre, Benllech & Amlwch.

We have free wifi and you can take advantage of our 2 mountain bikes for exploring the beauty Anglesey has to offer.

Very nice property

  • 3 of 5

Bathroom was flooded with rain water as the roof was being repaired I don't think you should rent property's out if they are under repair as our Friday nite stay was disturbed by the builder cleaning all the water up which then in turn blew the fuse to the shower then we had to go searching for the fuse box apart from that a nice stay

Owner's Response: I am sorry storm Doris arrived during your weekend stay and I hope it didn't prevent you seeing the delights Anglesey has to offer. Just to apologize for the inconvience of the leak in the bathroom on your arrival, which appeared after the housekeeper had been in at 2pm. I hope you agree the builder arrived promptly to resolve the matter, as soon as you reported it. I hope this didn't inconvience you too much.i do hope you will return again to see the delights of Anglesey once the weather starts improving.

Great country hideaway

  • 5 of 5

Lovely, warm cottage - spacious but cosy. Comfortable beds, clean bathroom, well equipped kitchen. Great rural spot, short drive to sea, amazing clear views of the stars on a cold night.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for 4 days in the old shop and found everything we could possibly need. The cottage was warm and cosy with very comfortable beds. The perfect getaway central to everywhere, Benllech Bay only a 5 minute drive away.We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Its ideal for a family of four with lots to do.

Neat and stylish and well supplied.

  • 5 of 5

The description was accurate enough for us; the property was clean and well maintained; the owner was contactable, concerned and friendly; yes we would recommend this property; we liked the Pilot Boat Inn and had Sunday lunch there. The hours of food took a little getting used to. If we didn't eat a meal by 3pm then it wasn't available until 6pm in many places and not available after 9pm. It was a lovely little place to come home to, easy on the eye, stylish and uncluttered. Heat was available. The kitchen had everything but someone has not understood not to use metal utensils on the non-stick pans and you can hardly expect the owner to have supplied stainless steel ones (expensive and might be walked off with).. We adjusted the couch, realising that the back cushions tend to slip down the back of the base cushions. We only used the TV and looked over the videos but didn't find any we must watch. Most of them seem lighthearted. Everything worked well. but towel ring needs fixing and top shelf in bathroom cabinet since it collapsed with my toothpaste on it. Who's to say when this instability damage occurred. Everything had been set up well; the table in the kitchen diner just so. We might have been more efficient had we read and studied the instructions in the book left for visitors at the beginning of the holiday. It is a quiet hamlet but easy to find after one or two days, especially as owners had thoughtfully left a desk pad of maps of Angelsey which visitors are obviously expected to tear off and use. There was also a basket of brochures and booklets for ideas on where to go. We usually ate out and came 'home' to relax and watch TV. The beds were dressed beautifully. Andrew said it was the best cottage we'd stayed in. Very attractive with a dining set in the front garden had the weather been up to it. Parking was no problem and able to park right outside gate to property but Andrew parked in a lay-by a little up the road to give passing farm traffic maximum room. There was not much traffic and it was very quiet at night We managed to push down the panic when the keysafe didn't seem to respond immediately but it's a knack which is soon discovered..
