Casares Del Sol offers some of the most beautiful and safe beaches where all the family can relax. Within walking distance are the bars/restaurants of Casares Golf Club, 5* Finca Cortesin Hotel/Golf Club/Spa (Home to the Volvo World Match Play) and Casares/Manilva beach.

About the Owner

We purchased our apartment in 2006 because we had visited the area and really fell in love with it. Since then it has really bloomed with new restaurants, bars and shops.

The area caters for all your family holiday needs. From lazing at the beach or the pool to exploring rural Spain which has some beautiful areas and towns to see.

We have visited every year since we purchased and the apartment really is our sunny second home. We've furnished it like our own home and we hope you'll enjoy it as much as we do.

Lovely Apartment

We had a super week at the apartment, it had everything we needed and was clean and tidy.We were met by Karen who was very efficient and told us lovely restaurants to visit in the area. The pool was large and it was not too busy,always plenty of sunbeds for us. Would recommend staying if we were to go back to Southern Spain for a holiday. Owners very helpful too.

Amazing and beautiful place to stay to relax

The description of the property was accurate, it had everything that you could ask for in a self catering accommodation, it was perfect for the type of holiday we were looking for, the pool area, gardens are immaculate and very safe, the underground parking was a god send due to high temperatures. A car is essential as you can visit so many places, 25min from Marbella, and Puerto Banus, Gibraltar is also 40 min away which is a must to visit if only to see the monkeys. The beach is a 10 min walk from apartment, there is a beautiful seafood restaurant here with views out across the ocean. There is a golf club just across the way that serves very good food and staff are very friendly. then there is the port of Le Desqua which is 5-10 min away which has so many bars and restaurants you are spoilt for choice. Victors is a must on the visit to the port. I would like to thank you for a fantastic 2 week holiday that even my 12yr old thoroughly enjoyed and we will be returning next year.

Activity and Interests


To really enjoy the area we strongly recommend hiring a car, and the roads are very good to drive on. Tolls roads are quiet and well sign-posted - the average cost from Malaga airport (50 mins away) in the high season is around 15 euros. Gibraltar airport is closer but flights are less frequent. Public transport is available in the form of buses and taxis. Buses are very reasonably priced and travel frequently between towns and Malaga Airport.


Trips to Seville, Cordoba and Granada are achievable in a day. The ancient mountain-top town of Ronda is a must see, especially via the mountains/pine forest route. If you're going to Gibraltar to see the famous caves and Barbary Apes don't forget your passports. Andalucian towns and cities: Sabinillas: 5 minute drive. Estepona 10 min. Marbella / Puerto Banus: 25 min. Sotogrande: 15 min. Seville and Granada 2 hours. Ronda: 1.25 hrs.

Further Details:

The nearest quality supermarkets - SuperSol in Sabinillas & Mercadona towards Estepona are within a 5 minute drive. A petrol station (with small shop for basics) and taxi rank are located at the bottom of the road, 1km away (opposite the beach). The nearest banks, chemists & local shops are also in Sabinillas. All the towns have their market days, mainly in the summer months, and are usually awash with shoes, handbags, jewellery, arts & crafts, and local produce like olives and spices etc. Up-to-date information about the area can be found in the local bookshop in Sabinillas which also provides bus tours to various Spanish destinations.
