About the Owner
About Christine Judge
We moved to Cornwall in 1999, taking up our current jobs as teacher and firefighter. We have had the cottage for 11 years.
We have always had dogs and currently have a super friendly miniature labradoodle called Tom.
We love all the walking and beaches close by and particularly enjoy swimming at Prussia Cove.

Why Christine Judge chose South West Cornwall
This area of Cornwall is truly unspoilt. There is a wealth of coast to explore as well as beautiful inland countryside. There is no need to go far to get away from it all if you wish but you can also soak up the holiday atmosphere at the close by surfing beaches. Prussia Cove (just one mile from the cottage) has a paradise of coves to explore with rock pools, caves and clear sea water to swim in as well as a large sandy beach reached at low tide. The area is steeped in history and there are many tales of the famous smuggler John Carter. This location has been used for films including Ladies in Lavender and more recently Summer in February. If you want to leave the car there are buses a short walk away which will take you to Penzance, Praa Sands, Porthleven or Helston and Falmouth. No need to drive to the pub or the shop as it is all on the doorstep.
What makes this cottage unique
This cottage is unusually light and sunny for the type of building and the garden is a real gem. The garden and cottage feel very private.

Beautiful home from home
Rose cottage is a beautiful cottage with a fantastic garden which our dog loved. Christine was a fabulous host and made sure we had everything we needed. The location of the cottage is amazing, gorgeous beaches close by, with easy access to Penzance, Mousehole, The Lizard, St Ives, Sennen, etc. The cottage is perfectly equipped and we had the most wonderful relaxing week, thanks to Christine, Adam and Tom!
