We loved Holly House

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time at Holly House. The cottage is furnished in a very welcoming way; we felt like we were staying in someone's special getaway home. The kitchen is completely outfitted for making meals and the bedrooms were comfortable. The bathroom upstairs was updated; the 1/2 bathroom downstairs was fine as well. We found the house very clean. The house has a back garden. It was an easy 10 minute walk to the restaurants and theatre. We would definitely recommend this cottage to our friends.

Charming and Close to Town

  • 5 of 5

My sister-in-law and I stayed at Holly House for six days in September and had a glorious time. The cottage is well equipped and just delightfully charming. The beds are comfortable and we were cozy sitting by the fire on a couple of rainy evenings. The cottage is a short 10 minute walk from all the shops, restaurants and the RSC. We rented a car for three days - a 15-20 minute walk to Hertz at the train station- and found that the cottage is well situated on the south side of town which meant we didn't have to drive through town to start our day touring the Cotswolds. Holly was responsive to questions and requests. We would stay again anytime we have the opportunity. Thanks, Holly!

Will stay again

  • 5 of 5

Stayed at Michael and Holly's place for 3 weeks, it's a great location and really well equipped. Not like the typical rental property, it's like a home from home. Liked the little touch like the bottle of wine in the fridge on arrival. Holly was really quick to answer any questions we had. We visit Stratford every year to visit family, now we've found this place we will be booking again.

Charming with a great location

  • 5 of 5

Stratford-upon-Avon is a wonderful place to visit, and this cottage is a great place to stay. The layout is very practical and the furnishings are charming. The kitchen is well-equipped and the garden is beautiful. Parking in Stratford-upon-Avon is a real headache, but from the cottage it is a short walk along the surprisingly beautiful Avon River into town! We had some lovely drives and walks in the Cotswolds, and saw an absolutely amazing performance of Julius Caesar in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre (and we walked!). I definitely recommend this cottage and would definitely stay there again.
