It is located in the Old Town, within easy walking distance of the High Street, RSC Theatres, Holy Trinity Church, Shakespeare’s historic houses, the River Avon and the many restaurants, pubs and shops that Stratford upon Avon offers. Situated near the Greenway, the property is ideal for cycling and walking enthusiasts and provides a perfect base from which to explore South Warwickshire and the Cotswolds. A wealth of National Trust properties, enchanting villages, as well as the spectacular Warwick Castle and the historic ruins of Kenilworth Castle are all within an easy drive.

My sister lives in Stratford-upon-Avon so we decided to purchase a property nearby. We also love this part of England and enjoy the proximity to Birmingham airport for easy air travel.

What makes this cottage unique

10-15 min walk into Stratford town centre which has super shops, restaurants, cinema and most important the theatres.

We love the historical importance of this lovely town and the beautiful River Avon.

We loved Holly House

We had a wonderful time at Holly House. The cottage is furnished in a very welcoming way; we felt like we were staying in someone's special getaway home. The kitchen is completely outfitted for making meals and the bedrooms were comfortable. The bathroom upstairs was updated; the 1/2 bathroom downstairs was fine as well. We found the house very clean. The house has a back garden. It was an easy 10 minute walk to the restaurants and theatre. We would definitely recommend this cottage to our friends.

Charming and Close to Town

My sister-in-law and I stayed at Holly House for six days in September and had a glorious time. The cottage is well equipped and just delightfully charming. The beds are comfortable and we were cozy sitting by the fire on a couple of rainy evenings. The cottage is a short 10 minute walk from all the shops, restaurants and the RSC. We rented a car for three days - a 15-20 minute walk to Hertz at the train station- and found that the cottage is well situated on the south side of town which meant we didn't have to drive through town to start our day touring the Cotswolds. Holly was responsive to questions and requests. We would stay again anytime we have the opportunity. Thanks, Holly!

Changeover Day:
Bookings normally run on a weekly basis from Friday 2 pm to Friday 10 am.

Minimum Booking Period.
Although we receive many enquiries for short stays of 2 nights the cost of the changeover has resulted in us setting a minimum price of 4 days and we urge all our prospective guests to consider extending their stay as there is a lot to do in the area.

Please note that the full weekly charge is payable for stays of 5 or 6 days since the intervening days to make up a full week are unlikely to be filled.

100% refund for cancellations more than 30 days before check-in date.
