This newly re-furbished property is too good to miss; it is a centrally located ground floor property which sleeps 4+ in 2 bedrooms - 1 king with basin and 1 twin, (plus a full size pull out single bed). 1 bathroom with shower over the bath. It is ideally located, near the top of the Town Steps, the property benefits from having a secure garden, a large sitting room and a kitchen with dining table that can sit 8. My husband has been coming here all his life and I started holidaying here in 1980. We were married in Aldeburgh Parish Church and both sets of parents lived here in their retirement.

There is so much to do here (or a wonderful place to do nothing!) that we come back time and time again.

An ideal centrally-located apartment.

This was our base over a long weekend in October. It's a clean, well equipped, warm and well furnished apartment which we were glad to come back to you at the end of the day. It's a short walk into the town centre to get the newspaper and croissants for breakfast and the Regatta is an excellent place to eat out in the evening if you don't want to cook. We weren't in very much, but it would've been possible to spend an evening happily reading or watching TV. I won't have any hesitation arranging to stay here another time. Thank you!

Good standard of accommodation.

The flat was beautifully decorated & furnished & very clean. All the rooms were very spacious. The location was also good being a two minute walk to the high street & beach, handy for shops & several restaurants & seafood stalls on the beach. We parked right outside the property which was no problem in October.

Very well equiped comfortable and homely property.

Had a wonderfull two week stay which was enhanced by superb weather.The property was excellent and a great position for shops,pubs and eating places.Not forgetting the the short stroll to the sea.Will definitely be returning next year to one of the best holiday lets we have stopped at .Many thanks.Chris

A cosy, beautifully decorated and well thought out apartment which had everything we needed.

My initial thought when we pulled up to the property was a little disappointed as I thought the picture on the web site of the steps leading to the town was where the property actually was. It is in fact just a couple of roads back from the steps but once I had got my bearings, I couldn't have wished for better. The apartment was fantastic. Light and airy with a good feeling of space. It is all really homely; games and dvd's in the living room, the kitchen is equipped with good quality appliances and there is a pantry and utility room off this which leads to the garden which was a great little space for our dog! The bedrooms are lovely. The beds are comfy and are made with feather duvets and pillows (which I love) so we had a week of good sleeps! Everything immaculately clean and tidy. Aldeburgh town is lovely with a good selection of things to do. We went to the little theatre one evening and the children went to the cinema, swam in the sea, went kayaking at Thorpe ness and ate fish and chips on the wall! We had lunch at the lighthouse which we had booked a couple of weeks in advance and one of the pubs has a pizza oven in the garden so this meant another evening out! A lovely week enjoyed by all! Would definitely recommend and re book myself.

Further Details:

Aldeburgh is a wonderful base for holidays if you are interested in music (Snape Maltings), bird watching (Minsmere), walking, swimming, sailing, golf, cycling.

On the practical side, there are two Co-op Stores, and one small Tesco store in the town and Saxmundham has a Waitrose (7 miles).

Aldeburgh is also well known for its restaurants and shops. No visit is complete without trying the fish and chips !
