This newly re-furbished property is too good to miss; it is a centrally located ground floor property which sleeps 4+ in 2 bedrooms - 1 king with basin and 1 twin, (plus a full size pull out single bed). 1 bathroom with shower over the bath. It is ideally located 2 minutes from the top of the Town Steps, the property benefits from having a secure garden, a large sitting room and a kitchen with dining table that can sit 8. ALSO PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A SURCHARGE OF £20 IF YOU WISH TO BRING PETS.

About Heather Russell

My husband has been coming here all his life and I started holidaying here in 1980. We were married in Aldeburgh Parish Church and both sets of parents lived here in their retirement.

There is so much to do here (or a wonderful place to do nothing!) that we come back time and time again.

Beautiful apartment in a great location

Very well presented apartment with everything you could possibly need. A lovely enclosed sunny garden, ideal if you have children and a dog. We stayed here with some friends for a long weekend and the one thing that we found tricky was sharing the bathroom as the toilet and bathroom is one room. If it was one family it probably wouldn't matter. Another toilet in a separate room would be ideal. We will definitely be back. Thank you Heather.

Very comfortable, clean and convenient.

A great apartment, stylishly decorated and an easy stroll from the beautiful Aldeburgh High Street. We had a brilliant stay and did some great walks in the local area with our 2 dogs. The apartment was a lovely, comfortable place to return home to. We’d love to return.

Great property, well equipped and perfectly located

The apartment is of very high standard - it is spacious, clean, well equipped, very comfortable, and well maintained.

It is a short walk from the high street and sea front, but still in a very quiet location.

The kitchen is great - I always bring my own kitchen knives and pans to rental properties, and for the first time I didn't need to use them.

When we were originally booking the property, Heather was very responsive and helpful.

Lovely home, great location next to high street and beach

Stayed for 2 nights to celebrate a total of 100 years between 2 friends! Everything we needed in the flat & particularly liked the sociable kitchen diner.

Perfect holiday home

This property was an ideal base for exploring Aldeburgh and the surrounding area, so close to the town no need to drive in the evening for meals out etc. it was very spacious inside & very comfortable.

Two minute walk to the beach and town

Further Details:

Aldeburgh is a wonderful base for holidays if you are interested in music (Snape Maltings), bird watching (Minsmere), walking, swimming, sailing, golf, cycling.

On the practical side, there are two Co-op Stores, and one small Tesco store in the town and Saxmundham has a Waitrose (7 miles).

Aldeburgh is also well known for its restaurants and shops. No visit is complete without trying the fish and chips !
