This newly re-furbished property is too good to miss; it is a centrally located ground floor property which sleeps 4+ in 2 bedrooms - 1 king with basin and 1 twin, (plus a full size pull out single bed). 1 bathroom with shower over the bath. It is ideally located 2 minutes from the top of the Town Steps, the property benefits from having a secure garden, a large sitting room and a kitchen with dining table that can sit 8. ALSO PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A SURCHARGE OF £20 IF YOU WISH TO BRING PETS.

About Heather Russell

My husband has been coming here all his life and I started holidaying here in 1980. We were married in Aldeburgh Parish Church and both sets of parents lived here in their retirement.

There is so much to do here (or a wonderful place to do nothing!) that we come back time and time again.

Home from Home. Spotlessly clean and has everything you need.

Had the most wonderful time here. Superb location. Have stayed in Aldeburgh before but this holiday home was by far the best. Very dog friendly. Would recommend it to anyone who is thinking of visiting. Will be going back .

Clean and spacious in a great location

A lovely apartment and the owner couldn't have been nicer. The rooms were all large and airy and obviously kept to a very high standard of maintenance and cleanliness and parking was easy.

Everything we needed.

We booked this for a five night stay.We have never been to Suffolk before.The apartment is a short walk to town, very convenient. The apartment is beautifully decorated and well equipped. We really enjoyed cooking in the lovely kitchen in the evening with a glass of wine, and following that going for a walk along the front.It was ideal for Sully, our dog, with a fully enclosed garden. The town itself is lovely, and we would recommend The Lighthouse restaurant, Aldeburgh Market,lunchtime, and the Regatta.

Love this apartment, its our second visit and is ideal for exploring the beautiful Aldeburgh coast and Suffolk countryside. Comfortable and well equipped, Heather has thought of everything you will need for an enjoyable stay. We will definitely return.

Lovely cottage, lovely location!

It was a really great space for us and our toddler, plenty of room for him to run about and the garden is a definite bonus. Location couldn't have been better, five minutes from the high street, five minutes from the beach, but a lovely quiet road at night time. Heather was very welcoming and accommodating, we'd love to come back!

Two minute walk to the beach and town

Further Details:

Aldeburgh is a wonderful base for holidays if you are interested in music (Snape Maltings), bird watching (Minsmere), walking, swimming, sailing, golf, cycling.

On the practical side, there are two Co-op Stores, and one small Tesco store in the town and Saxmundham has a Waitrose (7 miles).

Aldeburgh is also well known for its restaurants and shops. No visit is complete without trying the fish and chips !
