We Stayed in this Villa for 2 weeks during the World Cup (4 Adults) , It takes about 45 mins from the airport (Palma) via private taxi.



We were greeted and shown around the villa by a very nice couple who showed us around the property we then gave the security deposit and were handed the keys.

The villa Itself was as described in the listing, very spacious and in a very clean and tidy condition, as is the outside of the property and pool area.

The pool is a good size and was clean and tidy, the only thing I would say is if you have small children i.e. Toddlers there is an un fenced stream/river behind the property.

Internally the bedrooms were of a good size with plenty of pillows/bedding etc. The lounge was a good size and in good repair, as was the kitchen.





The property is approximately 5-10 mins walk to shops/bars/ restaurants & the beach, there are plenty to choose from, all you need to do is walk over a footbridge then up to the main road.



Nearby restaurants we enjoyed were:

The Gurkhas - Indian Restaurant, slight pricey but Good food/service.

Smiths - English Restaurant - Good Breakfasts fairly cheap

Dakota Steakhouse - Food was good, fair prices.



You can walk around the back of the "big lake" which took us about 20-25 mins in the heat of the day, less time in the evening when it was cooler, although it is an unlit road.



There is a taxi/bus stop nearby and to get to the port & the Old town were quite cheap 10-12 euros, there is a supermarket nearby (about 15 mins walk) called Eroski which is quite cheap.



Upon departure we had an early flight out, and the company were kind enough to arrange for a member of staff to do an early checkout for us as we were a bit hesitant leaving without getting the security deposit back.



I would probably advise if you are planning to travel out and about or have younger children it maybe worth hiring a car although the are plenty of transport links.



Overall we were very happy with our stay and would recommend this villa, which we found was a good price for the location, size.

The municipality of Alcúdia, 54 km from Palma, is located in a peninsula that divides the bays of Alcúdia and Pollença. Situated between these two big bays, this town was once a Roman colony. There, you can still visit the interesting remains of the Roman town of Pollentia. Alcúdia is a heavenly place that hasn’t passed unnoticed by the different ethnic groups and cultures that have lived in this spot since prehistoric times.

The Pollentia Museum in Alcúdia exhibits the archaeological pieces discovered in the Roman town. Moreover, the remains of an amphitheatre are still preserved.

Most part of the historic town consists of pedestrian paths that pass by typical Mallorcan houses, art galleries, shops and restaurants. These walks lead the visitor to many places with a lot of charm. If you are a nature lover, this region is perfect for you. Its coast is no less than 30 km long and offers a great number of landscapes, from beautiful fine sand beaches to steep cliffs and charming and stunning little coves.

If you like exploring, we recommend you to do the mountain routes of La Victòria. The paths are properly signposted and the duration is indicated in each itinerary.

The beach of Alcúdia is the area that has prospered faster. If you enjoy the dolce far niente and relaxing on a deck chair while you read a book, this is the perfect beach for you.
