Holiday Villa For Rent Fuengirola / Mijas

The villa has just been fitted with a new modern kitchen, new bathrooms and new lounge furniture. The villa is spacious with marble floors and built in a modern bungalow style. The location of the villa is in a very quiet residential and peaceful area yet just a few minutes drive to the beaches and Fuengirola town. As you enter the villa through the main front door, there is a large living / dining room to the right, leading onto a sizeable terrace (partly covered), barbecue, swimming pool, gardens and a second terrace. The terraces, garden and swimming pool are all south facing, guaranteeing full sun all day long! The living / dining room opens to the well newly fitted large kitchen. There is a breakfast bar (kitchen island) with decorative lighting. The lounge has one large leather sofa, two arm chairs and seating by the wall. There is also a fireplace and dining area to seat six. The lounge also has two large sliding patio doors that open onto the outdoor dining area and barbecue. iPTV & Digital TV is available (Main UK, Irish and Spanish channels) as is free WiFi for internet access which has been upgraded to the fastest speed available in the area. The kitchen has just been totally modernised and is in an open plan style with all of the modern conveniences expected. There is also a breakfast bar. To the left as you enter the villa, you are faced with a hallway off which are the 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. The main bedroom has a super king-size bed, air-conditioning (cold or warm) and an en-suite bathroom that has just been newly modelled with a walk-in shower, bath & shower, toilet, bidet, sink unit and heating for the winter. The other 2 bedrooms have twin single beds and also have air conditioning (cold or warm). All of the bedrooms have ample space and built-in wardrobes. The main bedroom and one of the twin bedrooms have patio doors that open onto the second terrace, garden and swimming pool. The main bathroom has also been recently modernised and features a separate walk-in shower, bath with shower, bidet, toilet, sink unit with drawers and heating for the winter. Security wise (you can never be too careful!) the villa is fitted with an alarm that is monitored by a security firm 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Modern, comfortable villa

Nice, modern, smart villa. Decent people to deal with - friendly and helpful. Villa is located in a very quiet area, faces towards the sea and is south facing meaning that even in March there was some nice warm sun shine. I cannot think of anything lacking in the villa. We have been to this villa twice now and will return again.

When I was looking for a holiday home, I wanted somewhere that was easily reachable from the UK (& Northern Europe) and I always liked the Costa del Sol, so putting two and two together, I decided on a holiday home in this area. To top things off, there are a multitude of things to do and see in the area for kids and adults (not just the beaches!). The villa is close to supermarkets, bars, restaurants and the tapas bars frequented by the locals offer reasonably priced high quality food.

Nearest Airport : Malaga at 25 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : El Coto at 1.5 Kilometres Nearest Golf : Mijas at 5 Kilometres Nearest Train : Fuengirola at 4 Kilometres Nearest Motorway : A5 / N340 at 2.5 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : El Coto at 1.5 Kilometres Nearest Ski : Granada at 130 Kilometres Nearest Beach : Fuengirola at 3 Kilometres Car: necessary


The closest beaches to the villa are Fuengirola and Torreblanca.(8-10 mins by car). The main beach in Fuengirola is 8kms/5 miles long with restaurants, shops, etc. Join the locals and take a late evening stroll along the sea front where there are numerous bars, restaurants, stalls and tourist activities.


The villa is located in the prestigious urbanization of Campo Mijas in Mijas Costa, 25-30 minutes drive from the airport (25kms). Gibraltar airport is approximately 1 hour drive away. Santander and Bilbao car ferry port (from UK) are about 9 hours drive.

A car is recommended when renting the villa.


The villa is 5-7 minutes drive to Fuengirola, 25 minutes drive to Marbella and Puerto Banus, 8-10mins drive to the picturesque town of Mijas (a must see!). Granada is a little over 1 hour away (book yourself some tickets to the Moorish palace of Alhambra beforehand & avoid the queues). Seville is about 2.5 hours drive (Cathedral is fantastic) and try to get to see

Further Details:

The villa is also located close to supermarkets (Mercadona (~4 mins), Carrefour and El Corte Ingles Department Store (<5mins), Miramar Shopping Centre (7mins) and restaurants (<1.5kms). There is a large water park (~5 mins), Tivoli World (~10 mins) and Fuengirola zoo (~8 mins).

The villa is ideally located for discovering the Costa del Sol and inland areas. Working closely with Connie and James, we ensure that everything at the villa is kept in top shape and always respond as quickly as possible to any issues, however small. A large investment has just gone into the villa for new bathrooms, kitchen and lounge furniture so you can expect a modern and comfortable stay.

  • Outside: The villa is south facing and in addition to the views over the coast and Fuengirola town, gets full sun from sun rise right through to dusk. Sun loungers, teak dinning table and chairs (to seat six people) are provided for al-fresco living. The outdoors dining area is located next to the kitchen and barbecue. It is covered, providing shade from the sun. However, there is lots of additional space on the terrace for sun bathing. The private swimming pool is approximately 10m X 4m and there is an additional table and chairs on the second terrace. There is also an outdoor shower for your use. Parking wise, there is off-street covered parking with a remote controlled electric garage door for security and convenience. There is also ample on-street parking available. The villa is secure and in addition to sensor controlled outdoor lighting, there is also a monitored alarm within the villa. Utility Room: The utility area within the kitchen has a washer / dryer, iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner, storage and clothes airer. There is also a separate door leading to the main entrance to the villa. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels, bed linen and beach towels are included in the price. The property is prepared and cleaned prior to arrival and if occupied for two weeks or more, the linen will be changed weekly. An additional property clean can be arranged for €100.
