1 bedroom apartment. Sleep 3. This apartment is open plan over two levels, with the bedroom and bathroom being on the lower level. The rustic feel to this apartment is mainly furnished with furniture made from reclaimed timber which serves to enhance the rustic feel of the property. Large open plan kitchen/lounge area: facilities include a full sized gas cooker, microwave and small fridge/freezer, the dining table will easily seat up to 4 people. Comfortable seating in the lounge, colour TV and DVD player. The wood burning stove is the main feature of the lounge area and as a cosy feel to the apartment at the end of the day. Bedroom: Sleeps 2 in a comfortable double bed, there is a small double foldout bed, available, for the extra guest, bed linen is provided. Bathroom: WC, wash basin and walk in shower cubicle with electric shower. We provide bath and hand towels at no extra charge. Free internet and logs for the wood burner are all included in the rental price.

Our location is an old hill sheep farm which is being converted to a nature reserve, to encourage wild life to return. So far we have rescue battery hens living free range and a number of rescued cats. The rural location of these properties makes them an ideal base for those of you wishing to get away from the hustle and bustle of a big city. From your doorstep there are numerous walks from a gentle stroll to the more arduous walks in Macclesfield Forest. We welcome one well behaved dog per lettings.

Notes on accommodation: Both properties have access to a washing and drying room. Washing detergent is also supplied. We ask that all tenants follow our policy to use recycling bins. No smoking is permitted on or around the properties. We will accept one well behaved dog in both properties. Outside: There is a small grassed area with a picnic bench, which is shared by both apartments. There is an abundance of wildlife on your doorstep. If you are lucky you may be able to see a badger or fox strolling past the apartment. The hens are rescues form battery farms and welcome visitors bearing gifts of various greens. The cats around the property are also rescues and most love nothing more than to be fussed. We have a number of bird feeding stations which attract a large variety of birds. The recently erected bug house and upside down trees attract a lot of interest.
