Peaceful cottage with great views

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely stay at Banc Farm last week. It is set in peaceful surroundings with great views towards Cardigan Bay. The cottage is spacious and fully equipped, and the owners are friendly and full of ideas for places to visit. We would certainly recommend this cottage for a relaxing break.

Excellent farm stay

  • 5 of 5

The farmhouse annex is ideal for a wonderful relaxing stay, fully equipped and spotlessly clean. It is ideal for touring the West Wales coastal area and surrounding countryside or just relaxing around the lake's on the farm.

Karen and Tim are very helpful and have a great deal of local knowledge and advise, they are also available for any help if required. The area pubs and beaches are also very dog friendly and welcoming to visitors and their dogs as we had our dog Bonnie with us.

We will be back in the future for another really relaxing break as soon as possible.

Thanks Karen and Tim for a wonderful break

Tranquil, peaceful, idyllic!!

  • 5 of 5

Arrived later thank planned on Friday, Karen was very helpful with our directions and we were thrilled to find a little welcome basket and some beautiful daffodils. The annexe was comfy and warm and had everything we needed. Dexter our labradoodle loved the walks round the lake and we got out and about and explored the beaches and fantastic walk around Devils Bridge on the doorstep. Great weekend, we will be returning with our fishing rods in the summer!!!

New Year 2016 stay

  • 5 of 5

Within 15mins of staying at the cottage we were planning our next visit. The little Xmas touches were lovely even down to the Xmas toilet roll and a basket of goodies were provided on our arrival. The interior of the cottage is first class and made for a very relaxing peaceful stay.

Karen and Tim were excellent hosts and very knowledgeable about the local area. The views around the property are beautiful and we were greeted by the farm animals every morning and throughout the day.

The coastal towns of Aberystwyth, New Quay and Aberaeron are well worth a visit.

Cosy Christmas cottage

  • 5 of 5

We spent the most relaxing Christmas ever at Pen-y-Banc. The cosy and well equipped cottage is tucked away, with views of the sea. Karen and Tim made us very welcome and the basket of goodies was lovely. As it was Christmas, Karen had thoughtfully decorated the place and there were even Christmas mugs, plates and place mats, which was a great touch. The chickens and goose in the yard are delightful. The weather wasn't all that good, but we had a wonderful week in our cosy haven. We wanted for nothing.

A Jewel in the Countryside

  • 5 of 5

The Cottage was delightful with spacious open plan accommodation together with a roomy double bedroom. Everything was spotlessly clean and the Owners, Tim and Karen were very kind and thoughtful and went the extra mile in everything relating to our holiday enjoyment. There was a welcoming basket of goodies including wine, cakes and eggs from the farm. A most unexpected surprise. The bedlinen and towels were lovely and the Cottage was warm and cosy. Every extra was provided to the extent of lotions and potions and even a spare toothbrush. We will return as soon as we can and have recommended this to our friends already. Peace and tranquility all around. Lovely sea views and a host of restaurants and eating places nearby. Did not want for anything and there were no lists of dos and donts. Thank you.
