Private Luxury Jacuzzi Hot Tub, Whirlpool and unlimited and exclusive use of our Private Pool via your private gate. Exclusive and private apartment with fully fitted kitchen, fridge-freezer, cooker and washing machine, etc. Lounge / Bedroom with 42" Smart TV with English and Spanish channels. DVD player and Wifi internet. Double bed, large wardrobe, 2 settees. Lovely fully tiled en-suite with shower, cute Spanish sink , toilet and bidet. Outside there is a porch containing 2 chairs and coffee table , dining table and 4 chairs. Patio for private sunbathing, Luxury Jacuzzi Hot Tub. Choice of sun loungers, large Gazebo for shelter from the sun with bar. BBQ. for outdoor cooking. Pretty garden. Peaceful, romantic Spanish mountainside retreat, with spectacular views of distant whitewashed villages. The apartment is a short 5 minute drive from the ancient Moorish mountaintop whitewashed village of Comares, the highest village in Andalusia. 3-4 minute drive from two bar/ restaurants in the hamlet Los Ventorros. Situated on open, hilly countryside with stunning, breathtaking views. Easy access from the apartment to the bars, restaurants, local shops and bank. No horrendous dirt track roads to navigate. Comares is a beautiful village with bar/restaurants, a bank and pharmacy, supermarket etc. A walker's paradise. Fantastic new Zip-wire across the mountains in Comares for the more adventurous. The coast and shopping malls a 40 minute drive. The beautiful vibrant city of Malaga is the nearest airport - approx a one hour drive. Sandy beaches are around a 40 minute drive at Torre del Mar on the Costa Del Sol with water sports, Chiringuitos ( beach bar/ restaurants ) and a huge selection of sunbeds. Other Local Activities: Bird Watching. So much to do or of course just chill and relax in the pretty apartment garden. Private off road parking. Although we live in the villa adjoining the apartment with our two small dogs. Poppy and Bailey, we are separated so your total privacy is guaranteed inside and out of the holiday apartment..

Why Jayne Haslett chose Axarquia (Costa del Sol)

We love living here.This is real spain living next door to spanish farmers and their animals. The views are spectacular. The locals are friendly. We live away from the hustle and bustle and commercialization of coast but can be there in 40 minutes We have easy access from a road which is a bonus no horrendous dirt tracks to rattle your bones. Although the pool is in front of our villa you have access via a gate to use whenever you want. We do not use the pool when you are using it. No one else stays here so you have total privacy. Because we live in the Spanish countryside you may occasionally see and hear chickens , goats, dogs, horses, mules, turkeys, birds, owls, eagles, vultures, insects etc. which all add to the ambiance of authentic country life. What you won't see or hear is hectic noisy traffic, bar brawls, drunken, shouting people. Embrace the peace.

What makes this apartment unique

The sun shine of 300 days a year is wonderful. Sunbathe in a lounger, swim in our pool, relax in the luxury Jacuzzi hot tub with massage jets. Read, relax. Eat in or out, visit our super local restaurants. Swim, sleep, rest. Drive to the coast, sunbathe on the beaches, swim in the sea, eat in the beach restaurants. Visit the many lovely white washed villages. Walk our mountain tracks. What more could you ask. So much to do or not do. The choice is yours.

Notes on accommodation: The apartment is a really pretty and a spacious place to stay to enjoy all Spain has to offer. The locals are very friendly. The apartment is situated in beautiful Spanish countryside. You may see and hear, birds, insects, horses, mules, chickens, goats, dogs. A hire car is recommended although airport pick up can be arranged. Outside: Open roofed porch with lovey dining table and 4 chairs. Wicker lounge suite and coffee table. Very pretty private garden. Large terrace with sun loungers. Extra large shaded gazebo. Gated for privacy. Swimming pool is 8 m x 4m. The pool is set in front of the villa but only a few steps from the apartment. You will have sole use of the pool and the owners will only use it when you are not. Utility Room: Washing machine in kitchen. Iron and ironing board. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and Linen provided including pool towels. Clean sheets are provide on stays more than one week. Maid service can be provided at an extra rate. Other: Out door dining table and four chairs. Out door lounge suite and coffee table. Gazebo for shade, dining or party. Use of pool. BBQ. Garden, patio. Private entrance. Parking.

Fantastic place to unwind with great views, pool and hot tub

Really lovely place to stay. Seclusion but everything there or within an easy drive for what you need. We were there for a week and had a few mini trips out to Comares (beautiful village and awesome views) and the market in Malaga (lovely food for bbq). Mostly we enjoyed reading, lounging and sharing our leftover sausages with Bailey and Poppy!! Owners Tony and Jayne were lovely and friendly but never intrusive. We'd recommend to anyone wanting a laid back, private place within easy drive of malaga, cordoba, granada etc...

Everything we expected and more!

I can only add to what others have said about this lovely place...wonderful views, great hosts who really respect your privacy and an absolute haven.

We arrived late at night but Tony and Jayne were wonderfully welcoming. The whole place is extremely well maintained both inside and out and is so private it feels like you're completely on your own.

We went to the coast several times, but it was always a pleasure to come back to the peace and tranquility of our own little place.

Thank you, we'd love to come back one day.

The best relaxing holiday for us, ever!!!

When we arrived at our destination we can only describe what we saw as totally awsome! The view we had of the mountains was amazing. We were shown around our apartment and everything explained by Jayne and Tony. My wife read three books in amongst a plunge in the pool to cool off or a relax in the jacuzzi just gazing at the mountains. It was just the break we needed and got in abundance! Table Mountain restaurant worth a visit with some micro brewing going on and lovely food and service. Comares very beautiful and the restaurant, well what an amazing view of Torres del Mar and the sea. We were lucky with the heat as it was only around the 28-32oC mark apparently to get even warmer. We just loved it. Well done to hosts Jayne and Tony. We will be back

Total tranquility

With the superb views of hills and mountains stretching into huge distances it was impossible not to enjoy every minute of our stay. The facilities (perfectly adequate and comfortable), private space, pool and jacuzzi were first rate. We were left in peace by (the always helpful) hosts and no geckos. Recommended.

Fantastic! Again.

Having stayed at Casita Antonio last year for a week we decided to stay again this year, for ten days. It was lovely to see Jayne and Tony again and the welcome was as warm as last year. The casita was clean and tidy with everything needed for our stay. The views, stunning and spectacular! They need to be seen to appreciate how wonderful they are. There was nothing better on a morning than sitting outside with a cuppa and watching the mountains come alive as the sun rose. We frequented Table Mountain restaurant for food and drink on several occasions. We even managed to defeat the mixed grill at Mirador restaurant in Comares this time! The beach at Torre del Mar is a lovely day out and El Yate is the place to eat with the ever friendly Enrique looking after you and advising on the menu. A trip to Malaga using the public coach over the mountains is a must. There is so much to do in Malaga that the day soon passes. We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to next year. Once again Jayne and Tony a big thank you for letting us stay and for making us feel so welcome.
