Why Denis Slattery chose Mijas area

I have visited this area of Spain for many years & have looked at many properties with a view to renting for holiday lets only. It is an ideal base & at the heart of exploring the Costa Del Sol coastline, & also the studio is directly FRONT LINE ON THE BEACH, making it a truly relaxing place to stay.

I Bought the studio in September 2014 & completely refurbished it in January 2015, to an exceptionally high standard, a standard I would want to expect if I was renting. It has a modern luxurious Black and white theme, with fitted kitchen with built in hob, microwave, Fridge & washer . It also has new air conditioning, and all the usual items to make your holiday feel like home from home.

Just perfect

All I can say to describe this fantastic studio is perfect!

From my initial enquiry with the owner Denis I received prompt replies and detailed information to my questions, without hesitation I booked the accommodation. Yolanda who met me at the airport was just so attentive as well, this was all arranged by the studio owner and saved me a lot in taxi fares.

The studio is immaculately refurbished, so comfortable for an individual (I was holidaying alone) or for a couple, Yolanda had provided a welcome pack of snacks and refreshments, showed me where everything was kept and ensured me she would be on hand night or day should I need her.

The studio was so clean, everything brand new, comfortable bed, lovely clean soft towels, TV and DVD player (wifi was being installed after I left for English TV channels), plenty of hot water and brand new air con, great cooking facilities and even a washing machine!

The studio has a beautiful sea view and is in walking distance of many amenities.

The apartment block is very quiet I encountered no noise issues. Just outside the block is a new bar "Rocks on the beach" which serves amazing food, tapas, burgers, full English brekkie and great cocktails and the staff are brilliant. The private pool with designated sunbeds is again right next door and also straight on to the beach.

There are plenty of beach bars/restaurants, 5 minute walk to the nearest cash point, 5/10 minute walk to the nearest supermarket/chemist and 10/15 minute walk to MacDonalds if you miss it that much.

I am already contemplating booking to go back later in the year, it was my first holiday alone and spent my birthday there and it was a truly relaxing perfect stay.

great for 1/ 2 people, very compact but still has everything you need. very clean, very modern

Lovely location right on the beach and just seconds from the autovia. Seems small when you first walk in, but you soon appreciate that it's got everything larger properties have. Stayed ten days and rather liked it!

Superb Location - Great views and directly on beachfront with good restaurants close by.

Arrived for a one week stay to explore the Calahonda area and this studio apartment was ideally located to do this. Owner Denis and Yolanda were on hand to meet us on arrival and are easily contactable if you need any advice or assistance.

Apartment is on 3rd floor with access by stairs or lift. Clean and well presented inside and the view from it overlooking the beach and coastline was beautiful in particular the sunsets. A few bars / restaurants directly outside are friendly and good for food as well. Within 5-10 mins walk you have supermarkets,shopping centre, bank and a variety of bars and restaurants of high quality.

Ideally located outside apartment is the new walkway which leads to the beach and Marina at Cabopino and is well worth visiting.

Would definitely use this apartment if visiting the area again.

Excellent Location

My second time there and again location is great for my needs. Beside all the bars,shops,restaurants and transport to get into all the other resorts along the coast. Great for a couple looking for a break or single person and even the beach is on your doorstep.

refurbished to a high standard,

Location of property is ideal for beach, restaurants, we have been to this area lots of times so know it well, property well maintained, clean, but more of a bachelor pad, bit too small for us, owner contacted us 5pm the day before the last day of our holiday to say he had someone coming into apmt. 2 pm. next day, a bit short notice we thought as we booked january 2016, accommodation is ok for a single person.

Firstly I would like to say that I'm sorry if you found the studio a little small , however if you look st the vast amount of comments regarding this studio you can clearly see that many gusts are quite the opposite to this.& feel that your comment in respect of it being a bit of a bachelor pad is very disrespectful & sexist , especially taking into account how tastefully decorated the studio has been completed to invite guests of both gender. Again comments from other guests confirm the opposite to your opinion .finaly regarding your comment of checking out. Like many hotels & self catering places it is always possible to check the day before your departure to see whether or not is possible to extend their stay . In most cases like yours when you have a flight as late as 9pm on day of departure we will always accommodate if is possible . When booking 9 Months prior to your arrival it is impossible to guarantee a late check out during such peak season

The beach is directly 5 meters from reception ! Private luxury sun loungers can be hired on request for the duration of your stay. Cycles can also be hired with advance notice. Utility Room: Washer dryer, mop & bucket, iron & ironing board Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All Studio towels & linen are included & fresh on arrival. Cleaning can be optional during your stay.
