I have visited this area of Spain for many years & have looked at many properties with a view to renting for holiday lets only. It is an ideal base & at the heart of exploring the Costa Del Sol coastline, & also the studio is directly FRONT LINE ON THE BEACH, making it a truly relaxing place to stay.

I Bought the studio in September 2014 & completely refurbished it in January 2015, to an exceptionally high standard, a standard I would want to expect if I was renting. It has a modern luxurious Black and white theme, with fitted kitchen with built in hob, microwave, Fridge & washer . It also has new air conditioning, and all the usual items to make your holiday feel like home from home.

Notes on accommodation: This beautiful refurbished studio can be accessed via the new elevator. It has ramp for wheelchair access. The interior of the studio was completely refurbished in January 2015 & is luxurious in every way. New security entrance door, new double glazed windows & wooden flooring, new air conditioning, kitchen, toilet & shower room with all new seating & accessories in the lounge & dining area, together with TV, DVD , & Super fast broadband WI-FI. Security Safe installed Outside: There are 2 shared pools, on either side of the studio heated & children's /baby pool . There is also a large shared garden area with patio & barbecue facilities. The beach is directly 5 meters from reception ! Private luxury sun loungers can be hired on request for the duration of your stay. Cycles can also be hired with advance notice. Utility Room: Washer dryer, mop & bucket, iron & ironing board Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All Studio towels & linen are included & fresh on arrival. Cleaning can be optional during your stay. Other: This studio has been completely refurbished in January 2015 to an exceptional high luxurious standard with a black & white theme throughout & modern décor to invite that home from home feeling & ensure a relaxing holiday. Excellent position for a relaxing holiday

Denis and Yolanda were great hosts and very helpful in every detail. Although compact the apartment is modern in décor, with sea views and being front line to the beach it represents good value for money. If you don't like heights with moving cars beneath then take the underpass to the various shops, banks and supermarket which is a right turn at the top of the approach road and walk around 100 or so yards and turn right again and follow the road. All in all a lovely spot to enjoy your holiday.

Holiday in Calahonda

I stayed at the studio apartment for 6 days to use as a base for exploring the area between Benalmadena and Calahonda and to plan a future family holiday. The apartment was ideal for this purpose. It is located on the third floor of an apartment block with a wonderful view of the beach and the sea from the window. There are two bar/restaurants at the entrance to the apartment block and an ideal beach walkway very close the block. A walk along the beach walkway to the nearby resort of Cabopino is an enjoyable experience.

The apartment is close to the bus route where there are regular buses to Fuengirola in one direction and Marbella in the other direction. The bus to Fuengirola stops outside the railway station at Fuengirola thereby giving access to trains to the airport and beyond.

The apartment is clean and comfortable and is well equipped for guests who want to do their own cooking. The Wifi and the multiple channel TV worked very well.

Calahonda has many bars and restaurants and is an ideal location for anyone wishing to have a relaxing holiday. The proximity of a busy road and the crossing of a footbridge to get access to the supermarkets may be considered a disadvantage by some people.

I would recommend the meet and greet at the airport to ensure that the holiday gets off to a good start.

We had a great holiday and the apartment that Denis provided was first rate. A wonderful view looking over the Med Sea. Clean, two bathrooms, kitchen, everything you needed to make a self catering holiday top notch. Also a service was arranged for us to be picked up at the airport an taken to the apartment. We were picked up on time and returned with plenty time to catch the flight home and at a reasonable price as Taxi's are expensive. Thanks so much Denis and Yolanda everything was perfect.

First impression of the property is, it's small but it has everything you need for 2 people.

Good air con, new washing machine, microwave is a combi which is good. Wash hand basin small. Great towels which can be washed and hung outside the window. A couple of issues with the tv channels which Denis sorted. Half mile walk to the supermarket up a hill and across a flyover. Apart from this, modern and comfortable. Little English bar next door very friendly and helpful. Weather for 17 days was excellent which helps make any holiday. Would I go again? Yes, Denis and Youlanda nice people.

Very clean studio, excellent facilities, modern deco with perfect location

It has been a pleasure to stay at the Mijas studio. Perfectly situated on the beach front with everything we needed. The owners (Denis & Yolanda) were extremely helpful- they even organised our airport transfers- nice touch :-) will definitely return.

If you decide to have a break from driving for the duration of your holiday, you're meet & greet person, Yolanda with the keys to your studio is available on request to assist with local knowledge of the area & transport you privately to local villages, beaches & the mega supermarket to stock up for your stay!

Coast/Beach:

Only 1 minute walk from your studio to the sandy beach .

here you can decide to walk further & explore many stretches of beach, with the addition of a brand new direct coastal walk way to the Port of Cabopino, taking 25 minutes. This walk way can also be used by cyclists.

Travel:

Malaga airport is a 25 minute drive to the studio.

Prices are for the property per week in £ Sterling and include cleaning & fresh linen on arrival. 25% due on booking, balance due 8 weeks to arrival, refundable security deposit of £100. Part weeks or discounts for longer stays available on application.

If there are guests arriving on the day of departure, the studio shall be vacated at 11am, however, if there are no guests due on the same day changeover days can be flexible, at the owners discretion.
