I have visited this area of Spain for many years & have looked at many properties with a view to renting for holiday lets only. It is an ideal base & at the heart of exploring the Costa Del Sol coastline, & also the studio is directly FRONT LINE ON THE BEACH, making it a truly relaxing place to stay.

I Bought the studio in September 2014 & completely refurbished it in January 2015, to an exceptionally high standard, a standard I would want to expect if I was renting. It has a modern luxurious Black and white theme, with fitted kitchen with built in hob, microwave, Fridge & washer . It also has new air conditioning, and all the usual items to make your holiday feel like home from home.

Excellent position for a relaxing holiday

Denis and Yolanda were great hosts and very helpful in every detail. Although compact the apartment is modern in décor, with sea views and being front line to the beach it represents good value for money. If you don't like heights with moving cars beneath then take the underpass to the various shops, banks and supermarket which is a right turn at the top of the approach road and walk around 100 or so yards and turn right again and follow the road. All in all a lovely spot to enjoy your holiday.

Gorgeous modern studio overlooking beach and sea

When we opened the door to this studio we were very impressed. Beautifully furnished and decorated. We had a beautiful view of the beach and sea. On arrival we had fresh clean fluffy towels, even beach towels were provided. Our towels, linen and cleaning were all included in the price. We also received a welcome pack. There is a beautiful pool area which is gated which we found very relaxing with access to the beach. Everything is in walking distance, shops restaurants, bars. A meet and greet service from and to the airport was also provided by the owner which was great. The lady who met us spoke good English and was very informative about where to go, what to do etc. We had a great time and have already booked to go back again later this year.

No bedroom as Advertised, and the bed is tiny.

The photos are "flattering" anyone over 6ft tall will not be able to sleep on the bed. There is only 1 available electric socket, and that is above the Hob. Clean towels and Linen were extra, as was cleaning. The Location was quite nice though.

Owner's Response: All comments are TOTALLY INCORRECT & are written with malice Firstly let me clearly & without doubt confirm that everything is contrary to what these guests have written & can be clearly supported by viewing all my previous comments , averaging nearly 5 stars over the 2 years I've been renting this studio ALL photos are current on the website & are fully justified on arrival at the studio. ALL towels inc beach towels & bed linen are provided in 2 sets , fresh & FREE on arrival. Cleaning is ONLY charged usually on long rents either weekly or mid way through a long stay. A new Washing machine is available in the studio. The sofa bed is a super king size & as this guest was so very large he actually broke it. There are ample electrical sockets throughout the studio. The studio is beautifully refurbished & is in a stunning location overlooking the sea on Calahonda beach. These guests admitted that they had made a mistake of their own on the day they arrived that they needed larger accommodation as they were staying for 1 month. I offered them my 2 bed apartment but they didn't want to pay extra. I offered them time to look for alternate accommodation & full refund. They declined & decided to stay & later extended their stay by another month. I expected them to move elsewhere but then decided they actually liked to stay & offered them a reduced price. Everything seemed perfect. I also said I may have a bigger apartment available at no extra cost , however it turned out that my daughter occupied that as she came to Spain with an unexpected family problem. This I believe was the catalyst that prompted them in haste to write such spiteful comments , including some personal derogatory comments outside of this website. This I hope is an exceptional experience as an owner & would like to reassure any future guests to look at all previous comments from which Yolanda & I will continue to go that extra Mile to ensure guests enjoy a relaxing & enjoyable holiday experience. If any fellow owners are reading this I can assure you that I have reported these individuals to owners direct. Unfortunately comments can't be removed but can only be responded to as I'm doing now to obviously protect & maintain a very good reputation

Lovely location right on the beach and just seconds from the autovia. Seems small when you first walk in, but you soon appreciate that it's got everything larger properties have. Stayed ten days and rather liked it!

Superb Location - Great views and directly on beachfront with good restaurants close by.

Arrived for a one week stay to explore the Calahonda area and this studio apartment was ideally located to do this. Owner Denis and Yolanda were on hand to meet us on arrival and are easily contactable if you need any advice or assistance.

Apartment is on 3rd floor with access by stairs or lift. Clean and well presented inside and the view from it overlooking the beach and coastline was beautiful in particular the sunsets. A few bars / restaurants directly outside are friendly and good for food as well. Within 5-10 mins walk you have supermarkets,shopping centre, bank and a variety of bars and restaurants of high quality.

Ideally located outside apartment is the new walkway which leads to the beach and Marina at Cabopino and is well worth visiting.

Would definitely use this apartment if visiting the area again.

If you decide to have a break from driving for the duration of your holiday, you're meet & greet person, Yolanda with the keys to your studio is available on request to assist with local knowledge of the area & transport you privately to local villages, beaches & the mega supermarket to stock up for your stay!

Coast/Beach:

Only 1 minute walk from your studio to the sandy beach .

here you can decide to walk further & explore many stretches of beach, with the addition of a brand new direct coastal walk way to the Port of Cabopino, taking 25 minutes. This walk way can also be used by cyclists.

Travel:

Malaga airport is a 25 minute drive to the studio.

meet & greet with the keys & private transfer are available on request & in advance.

Centre of Calahonda 5 minutes walk

Cabopino marina 25 minutes walk

Marbella 10 minutes drive

The interior of the studio was completely refurbished in January 2015 & is luxurious in every way. New security entrance door, new double glazed windows & wooden flooring, new air conditioning, kitchen, toilet & shower room with all new seating & accessories in the lounge & dining area, together with TV, DVD , & Super fast broadband WI-FI. Security Safe installed Outside: There are 2 shared pools, on either side of the studio heated & children's /baby pool . There is also a large shared garden area with patio & barbecue facilities. The beach is directly 5 meters from reception ! Private luxury sun loungers can be hired on request for the duration of your stay. Cycles can also be hired with advance notice.
