Apartment in Villeneuve Loubet, Nice, Alpes Maritimes, Provence-Alpes-Cote DAzur, France - Peaceful Private Residence With Every Amenity Within Walking Distance Including Bus And Train

The apartment has uninterrupted views of the gardens and harbour, and the beach all the way to Nice. The Alps and Nice airport are visible in the distance. There are two folding bikes at the apartment for use and there is a cycle path to Nice or to Antibes which runs along the coast. There are many restaurants of all cuisines in the Baie and within walking distance of the apartment and all the beaches are public. There is a private pool within the residence which is available at a charge. There is also parking at a small charge should this be needed. The buses run from Nice Airport to the Marina and there is a train station just up the road from which you can travel to Italy or the French coast. The buses cost 1.50€ per trip and run frequently throughout the year.

Villeneuve Loubet is a seaside resort but also has an old village with museums and a medieval castle that dates back to the XIIIth Century.

Within a 25 minute drive you can access the children paradise - Pitchoin Forest, Canyon Forest, Labyfolies and Le Bois des Lutins. These are four adventure playgrounds ranging from 2 years upwards.

The Marina boasts many Restaurants and cafes to suit all tastes and preferences. There are also shops and rental offices.

Behind the marina there are also all shops and a McDonalds for the young!

There is a Yacht Club where you can have lessons in sailing etc.

There are many water sports available near the Marina on the beach.

There is a Thalassoleil and Spa in the Marina offering beauty treatments, spas and packages and is open throughout the year.

Within a 15 minute journey is St Paul de Vence, a beautiful 14th Century village full of charm and panoramic views. Full of shops selling everything from art and sculptures to jewellery and clothes. The village is a must to visit with an abundance of restaurants and street cafes in which to dine or snack.

Good clean, modern apartment, well situated for visiting Nice, the Mediterranean and Provence. Sara was prepared to go the extra mile to make sure we had an enjoyable stay - such as providing maps and arranging airport pick-up and drop-off.

Property in fabulous spot overlooking marina & sea

we had a lovely holiday. Sara and husband Dave were very obliging asked us to raise any issues with them. One thing happened during our stay and it was dealt with immediately and with good humour - everyone did their best to sort it out. We used the bikes frequently to explore the coastline, and another one was offered as we were a party of three. The flat is really well-equipped and I can't think of a single item I needed! We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the activity of the flights to and from Nice (but with no noise) and the marina and the beautiful sea. A few nights also provided us with a fireworks display!

The rail and bus services are great and near the apartment, cheap and regular. We visited Antibes, Monte Carlo (complete with marina-based outdoor public pool with diving facilities and flumes!! all for less than £15 for 3 of us for the afternoon) , Ventimiglia and Nice during our stay - all very inter siting and well worth seeing but there's lots more on offer besides, a really beautiful place to return to. It was also reasonably priced due to a strong pound.

Ideal base to see the riviera from

This is a great property, really well looked after. It was spotlessly clean and the host Sara and her husband Dave were really pleasant and knowledgeable about the local area and attractions. I've stayed in this area a number of occasions and this is by far and away the best value property I've stayed in. I will definitely be back and would recommend this to anyone

perfect holiday

The appartment was fantastic- great location with views of the sea towards Nice, very clean and everything in it of excellent quality ( my husband thought the shower was the best he had ever been in ). Our hosts Sara and Dave were great, very helpful and nothing too much trouble. Location was just right, near the beach, not far from the station where you could get trains to Monaco, Cannes, Nice, Grasse etc and there were bikes which we used to cycle along the promenade by the side of the Med- perfect!

Highly reccommend the appartment and will definitely be going back.

FANTASTIC

Our host, Sara, was great; she was super friendly, very responsive and made us feel right at home. The apartment was beautiful and had a gorgeous view of the beach and mountains. It was also very clean and organized. My family and I were very satisfied with our stay and experience here. Its also located right next to the beach and many restaurants and shops, and close to many other touristic cities such as Monaco, Nice and Cannes. All in all, wonderful place and location. Would definitely recommend!

Location

We have this month purchased our apartment for Lettings and for family visits. We searched a lot of properties and places but the Marina Baie des Anges ticked all our boxes and all our friends say that it is in a perfect location. Although everything you need is within walking distance, the terrace overlooks private gardens and the ocean and it is remarkably quiet.

Activity and Interests

Coast/Beach:

The apartment is on the main beach with runs along the Cote D'Azur

Travel:

There is a bus which runs from Nice airport to the Marina. It's costs 1.50€ each way and takes about 15/20 minutes.

A car is not needed as everything is either within walking distance or available by bus or train.
