About the Owner

We are a family who live near Welshpool in Mid Wales. We have recently bought this lodge, having already owned one on this great site for some years. Located in a lovely quiet spot, we love to come down to this beautiful part of Pembrokeshire, close to our heart.

A lovely stay!

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at Heulwen Lodge! It was great value for money, a very peaceful site and an ideal location for touring Pembrokeshire. We stayed with 3 children (aged 4, 9 and 10) and we were all very comfortable and felt safe and snuggly tucked away in a quiet location in Llanteg. We all loved using the tennis court right outside our lodge and the play park was a nice addition for the kids.

The lodge was adequately equipped for cooking although there was an absence of some key cooking essentials such as chopping knives, grill pan and an oven glove. We still managed to have a couple of nice meals around the table indoors. Hot water/shower was always available and the bath was great for cleaning sandy kids at the end of a day at the beach.

Unfortunately, the on-site pub 'Wanderers Rest' was closed for the whole 2 weeks we stayed and we also did not find any 'Free WIFI' as advertised. Both of these issues did not spoil our wonderful time in South Wales and I would recommend this property to any family who is fed up of caravanning/camping but still wants a budget holiday.
