Shoreline is a newly refurbished single story property on Carbis Bay Beach, St Ives. With its own private access to the award winning blue flag beach, Shoreline has spectacular panoramic views of the bay. With nearby facilities including restaurants, spa and water sports Shoreline is the perfect place to explore this beautiful part of Cornwall. One bedroom having a king size bed and wardrobes, modern kitchen and bathroom with shower, all newly fitted in 2015. Fully equipped kitchen .Smart TV in sitting area with table and four chairs looking out to sandy beach , sea and lighthouse.

Outside shower, sitting area on patio with two sun loungers and table and chairs with parasol . Gas Barbeque and enclosed garden.

About Josie and Jeff Wadley

We are a professional couple who manage a private estate in Mid Wales. Part of our job is to look after and run two luxury 5 star holiday cottages.

We have been married for 36 years and have four children and three grandchildren.

Why Josie and Jeff Wadley chose St Ives area

We have had family holidays at Carbis Bay, St Ives for over 30 years. Our family have made many happy memories in this time and would all agree that these two weeks at Shoreline were their highlight of the year.

We have always loved this area because of its white sandy beaches and clear seas, which has earned it a blue flag award. Shoreline has always been a special location with great sea views and the beach on your doorstep.

What makes this house unique

Shoreline is nestled alongside the beach in Carbis Bay with great access to public transport such as regular train services and bus routes. Carbis Bay is also on the A30 which runs right through Cornwall which is great for getting to some of the many attractions Cornwall has to offer. The coastal path provides spectacular views over Carbis Bay and surrounding beaches.

Carbis Bay beach offers first class facilities including restaurants, spa and beach club.

A perfect little hidden gem, couldn't of asked for a better place to spend our Honeymoon..!!!

We booked Shoreline as our Mini-moon & what an amazing place. We loved it that much we looked at booking for 2weeks in September for our proper honeymoon but it's fully booked so we'll be booking for next year for our anniversary.

Shoreline is truly amazing, the pictures on the site do not do it justice. We honestly cannot recommend it enough, from the amazing views, the stunning accommodation/fixtures & perfect location, it's completely flawless.

Thank you so much for a perfect honeymoon & we can wait to come back..

Beautiful property in a gorgeous location

Stayed at Shoreline for 5 nights at the end of Feb 17. Prior to arrival instructions were clear and accurate. On arrival we found the property very clean and exceptionally well equipped with good quality contents ( especially the kitchen). There were plenty of towels and good quality bed linen. The location is superb and we enjoyed watching the seals swimming just outside of our window! I would thoroughly recommend this property. Thank you

Amazing!

Absolutely stunning in every way.It was perfect , from the beach house to the location .

It is very obvious that the owners have spent money on the renovation , it really can not be faulted.A lovely welcome pack , spotless and modern accomodation that has everything you need, a fabulous BBQ which we got a lot of use of,stunning sea views and location absolutely spot on.We would definitely stay here again and will be recommending this place to friends and family.It is a little gem.

Fantastic stay

We stayed at this property for a week in April 2016, myself, my partner and our 2 year old little boy.

The property had everything we needed (the kitchen was equipped far better than ours at home!)

The location and facilities are fantastic for a small child. Straight out onto the beach and we could nip in and out whenever we needed anything.

The train from Carbis Bay to St Ives was great. It takes about 3 minutes and costs £1 so no point driving and paying for parking.

We would definitely recommend this property to anyone.

Absolutely amazing beach side location

We have stayed in many cottages over the years and this one is in by far the best location, if you love the beach. It isn't just near the beach, it is on the beach! Just step off the patio and there is the lovely yellow sand of Carbis Bay Beach.

Just to walk into the lounge and look out of the window brings a big smile to your face - all you can see is yellow sand, blue sea with white waves and blue sky - it is fabulous.

The actual cottage is perfect - fitted to a very high standard and includes everything you would need for your stay.

Coast/Beach:

Shoreline is located approximately 3 metres from the sands of Carbis Bay beach with its own direct access. St Ives is approximately a 10 minute drive or 30 minute walk along the picturesque coastal path. A train also goes from Carbis bay station into St Ives along the cliffs.

When the tide is out you can walk around Hawks

point and onto Porthkidney sands. The Carbis bay Hotel is very close by to Shoreline and has spa and beauty facilities available to non residents. Apart from Carbis bay beach, there are also four magnificent sandy beaches in St ives. Porthmeor beach is famous for surfing, Porthgwidden is a safe small family beach, The Harbour beach is also family friendly, and Porthminster is a wide safe child friendly bathing area. There are many art galleries, including the famous Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth museum in St Ives, as well as the St Ives museum in Wheal Dream. There are three restaurants in Carbis Bay, Carbis Bay beach restaurant, La Casita, and The Atlantic, along with a large excellent fish n chip restaurant named Becks. There are many excellent restaurants in St Ives too, specialising in fish, seafood and grills.

Penlee gallery in Morrab Road Penzance is a must visit for art enthusiasts appreciating traditional paintings, specialising particularly in The Newlyn School artists.

Paradise Park at Hayle is a great day out for children, primarily a bird sanctuary, with small animals, and an inside soft play area for rainy days.

Truro has a fine cathedral, a museum, a theatre, and many good shops.

Further Details:

Notes:

  • Notes on accommodation: Shoreline is newly refurbished including a brand new kitchen, shower room , bedroom Clean ,Warm, cosy, bright and right by the beach. Outside: Shoreline has a patio area with barbecue, outdoor furniture and direct access to the beach. We also have an outdoor shower. Utility Room: Washing machine and sink area within kitchen. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: On arrival all linen and towels will be provided for a weeks stay. Friday is changeover day although if you choose to stay longer than a week the property will be cleaned and fresh linen and towels provided. Other: Shoreline's underfloor heating and hot water is provided by an air source heat pump which is a renewable energy.
