House in Hunstanton, North Norfolk, England - Luxurious Accommodation, Ten Minutes Walk To Glorious Beaches Of Hunstanton, Perfect For Families

This beautifully restored Edwardian Seaside home is set in the well known avenues of the Victorian town of Hunstanton. With four charmingly furnished bedrooms this is an ideal property for large families or friends who want to holiday together. The accommodation is set over two floors; on the ground floor there is a large Farmhouse style kitchen with dining table seating ten people, range cooker, dishwasher, fridge freezer and microwave. Bifold doors lead onto the pretty south facing courtyard garden with outdoor dining furniture and barbecue. The garden is fully enclosed and is child and dog friendly. There is also a large comfortable sitting room with TV and DVD player on the ground floor. On the first floor are two luxurious double bedrooms, each with King size beds and an en suite bathroom with bath, walk in shower, washbasin and WC. On the next floor are two pretty attic bedrooms, one with twin beds, the other with a King size bed. The twin bedded room has an ensuite washbasin and WC, the other having an ensuite walk in shower, washbasin and WC. The house is ideally situated for the beaches and the town centre, both being an easy ten minute walk. Hunstanton is famous for it's glorious sunsets and there are beautiful coastal walks.

Absolutely stunning!

Stephen and I stayed at Troon Cottage with my parents along with my sister, Sarah, her husband Stuart and their daughter Olivia. I can honestly say this property exceeded all expectations. The decor is exquisite, my father who has been a professional decorator for over 50 years could not fault it! The property feels luxurious yet warm and welcoming. We had planned to eat out most evenings as there is an excellent choice of dining options nearby but we struggled to tear ourselves away from the property. My partner Stephen is an excellent cook and he loved being in the kitchen which he said was better equipped than our kitchen at home. The amenities of Hunstanton are all in walking distance as is the beach which we all enjoyed particularly my niece Olivia. We all came away fully refreshed and really looking forward to a return visit next year and when we hope to stay for two weeks.

Hunstanton beach is a ten minute walk from the house.

The Stunning beach at Holkham is a twenty minute drive away, this beach has been used in many famous movies.

Further Details:

North Norfolk is renowned for the wildlife and is of special interest to bird watchers with RSPB reserves at Titchwell and Snettisham both a ten minute drive from the house.

There are many National Trust properties in the area and the Queen's Estate at Sandringham is just fifteen minutes away from the house.

  • Notes on accommodation: The house has been undergoing a complete restoration and will be available for holiday lets for the first time from June 2015. Great care has been taken to conserve the Edwardian charm of the property whilst making it a luxurious comfortable family home. Outside: There is a small fully enclosed private garden at the rear of the property with outdoor dining furniture, terrace , barbecue. Access is through bifold doors from the kitchen, there is also a side gate. Utility Room: Utility area upstairs with 9kg washing machine. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen and towels are provided, the property is cleaned weekly and bedlinen and towels changed weekly.
