Blue Marlin is the largest of the eight prestigious Black Rock Dreams apartments, located on Grafton Beach, one of Tobago’s finest. Located in a secure compound, it is surrounded by tropical gardens that boasts a swimming pool and private access to Grafton beach. The top floor apartment is well equipped with three bedrooms, air-conditioning throughout and only 20 minutes drive from the airport. There are a handful of lovely restaurants within walking distance and three supermarkets, all within 10 minutes drive!!!

Absolutely Fantastic!

If you are considering staying at Blue Marlin apartment then I would urge you to book it! We've just stayed there for 2 weeks with our 2 teenage sons and it was fantastic. The apartment itself is HUGE, with views to die for - a truly stunning position. It's really well kitted out and very comfortable. The beach it is on is the best one we went to - and we travelled around the whole island! Crown Point and Store Bay are beautiful, but very crowded. On Black Rock Beach you will often be the only ones there, and only ever a few locals and children coming down for a swim.

Tobago itself is quite 'rustic', not very developed for tourism - if you want lots of top quality restaurants and things to do then it might not be the island for you. But it is so beautiful - make sure you go up to the North, to Speyside and to the Argylle waterfall and to the rainforest.

The pool area is lovely - my only slight negative comment would be that the pool is a little small for teenage sized children to play in. Christian keeps the garden immaculate and one of our favourite sights was watching the Iguana climb the palm tree outside our balcony every morning.

Liz is brilliant - so friendly and helpful, really nothing is too much trouble. And the lovely maid (whose name I have forgotten in a jet-lag fuzz) keeps the apartment absolutely immaculate.

We will most definitely be going back!

I was a little reluctant to book this property as there was only one review posted. I am so glad I took the chance and choose the Blue Marlin!!! We (husband, myself and 3 teenage boys) stayed here for 2 weeks. The apartment is large, spacious and spotless. The deck is fantastic for chillin'. The beach is the best we found on Tobago. We went to Pigeon Point one day, and ended up wondering why we had wasted our time and money to get harassed by hustlers pushing glass bottom boat tours, when we could have just hung out here on Grafton Beach. We even saw hatchling leatherbacks making their way to the water one night! Liz is a fantastic property manager. We missed our flight from Trinidad due to weather delays in Houston, and she was able to pull some strings to get us on the next flight. She met us at the property and went over everything with us, and made sure we were comfortable before she left. Chris is the property manager and he keeps the place spotless and is very friendly. We adopted Lucy for 2 weeks - she laid at the top of the spiral steps with her nose through the gate waiting for a scratch. She would also follow us on our beach strolls. Great property, great property manager. You can't go wrong with Blue Marlin! Can't wait to return!!!!

The perfect place!!!

This is our second trip to the Blue Marlin, a spacious apartment on an idyllic beach with a fantastic view. To be able to walk out of the property straight onto the sand and into the sea for a morning swim and then wander along to a beach bar for a drink or a bite to eat is what dreams are made of. The garden is immaculate and if you are feeling really lazy it is wonderful to lounge around the pool. The apartment itself has everything you need. Liz the manager was wonderful, providing grocery essentials we had requested on our arrival and answering all our questions regarding the island. Everything was perfect for a relaxing holiday on a beautiful tropical island. Plenty of restaurants, places to see and things to do. We certainly want to return.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : A.N.R Robinson International Airport at 11 Kilometres Nearest Golf : Mount Irvine Bay Golf Course at 3 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : The Seahorse Inn at 150 Metres Nearest Beach : Grafton Beach at 10 Metres Car: necessary


Blue Marlin has private access from the gardens onto Grafton Beach which is always quiet and great to walk along and has some good snorkelling spots. Buccaneers Beach Bar and Grill is on the beach and services food and cocktails.

Should you wish to explore the island, Tobago has plenty to offer such as snorkelling, diving, golf, sailing, bird watching and horse riding as well as a lively night life.


A.N.R.Robinson International Airport (TAB) is located on the south-western tip of the island and takes 20 minutes to drive to Blue Marlin. You will need to hire a car or catch a taxi to the apartment. There is a secure underground car park with electric gates.


There are a handful of lovely restaurants within walking distance of Blue Marlin and three supermarkets, all within 10 minutes drive!!!
