Lovely apartment

We have stayed at this apartment twice now. Cala Egos / Cala D'Or are lovely clean, well-kept towns. The apartment is in a good condition and the owner Toni is lovely. To be honest, there was more space than we needed, but it gives you somewhere to put your bags! The garden being off the terrace is brilliant, you can keep an eye on the kids in the pool (7-9 yrs & good swimmers!) really easily. The garden is well kept and there are tons of seats/loungers etc. New air conditioning went in last year and there's decent sized TV etc. It's fairly peaceful, despite the road. We've been twice in August and some days there was only us in the pool, as it's only a small complex. I think the maximum I've seen is only about 10-12 people in or around the pool. It's 5-10 minute walk to the beach (depending on which one you go to) and about 10-15 minutes to the marina. There's a supermarket 5 minutes away too. Loads of bars and shops just down the road or you can press on to the main town (20-30 minutes walk). We don't feel the need for a car here at all. Special mention to Molly's Irish bar, about 7 minutes away towards the marina. Very friendly and brilliant food (massive portions), you'll need to book in advance for popular days. We went to book this apartment again this year but it was already full, as we left it too late! I would imagine we will be back in future though.
