"Have had a wonderful stay at Daisy Cottage - such a clean, tidy and welcoming place. Being able to watch the trains was fantastic! Would definitely recommend to anyone. You've catered to our every need and we can't thank you enough - also thanks for the cakes and mile. What a lovely gesture! Thank you."

"We loved the cottage! It had everything we needed and was warm and cosy. The cakes and milk were a loverly thought and a nice way to start our stay. My husband watched many trains arrive and depart from the lounge window. All in all a wonderful 6 days. Thank you"

Quaint little railway cottage

  • 4 of 5

Quaint little cottage with everything thought of . Very handy for railway of course! and also central for general sight seeing . Stairs needed a bit of care and couldn't open windows but would recommend.

Lovely place to chill out

  • 4 of 5

The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. The staircase was a bit of a challenge for two elderly women, the garden was also out of bounds due to the number of steps to reach it but the cottage couldn't have been better located for the type of holiday we wanted, I didn't find the parking a problem, the car was parked when we arrived and it didn't move again till the day we left, everything we needed was within walking distance.

Beautiful Little Cottage

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 4 had a wonderful holiday at Daisy Cottage. The cottage is well equipped and ideally placed being just a short stroll to Pickering high street. The view from the front windows over to the steam train station was particularly loved by our boys. We also found it to be a great base for exploring the North York Moors. We loved it so much we will be returning next year.

Wonderful cosy & cute cottage

  • 5 of 5

We are a family of four who had a lovely stay in Daisy Cottage in Pickering. Great location as Pickering is a busy little village with good choice of pubs and restaurants and is an excellent base for visiting East Yorks. The cottage is right opposite the Steam train which we took from Pickering to Whitby and is a great day out, interesting watching the trains come and go. Cottage itself is well equipped and cosy, was perfect for our base whilst exploring. Owners really helpful, nothing too much trouble.

Ideal Location

  • 5 of 5

A splendid location and ideal for us with two young children to explore the N York Moors National Park. The house is great and as described and the owners were very helpful ensuring our stay went without a hitch. The only negative is the parking as the parking space in front of the house is not suitable for large family cars or estate cars and is located on a narrow road although the neighbours were accommodating. No hesitation in recommending the cottage.

A really lovely cottage - great location

  • 5 of 5

We were recommended by friends who have stated at the cottage previously to try to book into Daisy Cottage - and we were not disappointed!!

The cottage is all you would expect from a period property in Yorkshire, but with the added bonus that the cottage is kept in immaculate condition and looks like it has only recently been done up.

Location was brilliant for access to the town centre on foot, and to local pubs and attractions.

The owners were very helpful and could not do enough for us before the stay to make sure we had everything we needed.

All in all a great experience we would recommend to anyone,
