Villa Sonriente (Please feel free to contact us on ++44 1884 277457 to verify this listing) is situated in Los Alcazares in the region of Murcia, South Eastern Spain. On the shores of the Mar Menor lagoon it boasts an average of over 300 days of sunshine a year. A fifteen minute walk will take you to 5kms of beautiful sandy beaches and the lagoon, offering exceptional bathing in warm shallow mineral rich waters. Set in an extremely quiet area the villa offers every comfort including air-conditioning and a large roof terrace to enjoy around the clock sunshine. The living area comprises of a lounge/dining room of generous proportions with English colour T/V and HiFi, DVD player, Remote control air conditioning, a comfortable sofa , reclining armchair and a dining suite to seat 4 people. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven and dual gas/electric hob and Microwave. A full range of utensils are provided including, electric kettle, toaster, coffee maker and a selection of cooking dishes and crockery. The villa sleeps 4 people and there are 2 bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin, BOTH WITH EN-SUITE shower rooms and a washing machine in the double's shower room. The 2 bedrooms and the main living area are equipped with individual thermostatic heating systems. Hair dryers are supplied in both bedrooms. Outside is equally well catered for with seating at the front of the villa, a patio with a BBQ, table and reclining chairs to the side and a secluded large roof terrace enjoying round the clock sun, equipped with sun loungers, reclining chairs and tables. The locality is awash with restaurants, bars and cafes to suit all tastes. Excellent site seeing and activities are available locally. A very relaxing accommadation. Outside space is ideal, in or out of the sun. Excellent rooftop sunbathing area, and if you need to cool down use the on door step pool. The place is very well equipped with washing machine to do

your washing before you go home.

Tv with UK channels if you need to relax and wi .You will feel like being at home but with good weather. The area is well served with supermarkets, bars and restaurants. Plenty of beaches near by or round the coast.This is not your Spanish holiday resort. It is very much residential. Bike friendly. A very relaxing place to holday.

very clean lovely holiday home

i went with my son aged 10 then my parents followed us out a few days later we had a brilliant holiday the villa was home from home ideal for children my son loved the swimming pool and the reasraunts were within walking distance and also the baches

thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful holiday home i would defo recomend to friends and famiily

Great place

Stayed here for a week (26th Aug-2nd Sep)

This is a lovely villa, it is situated near shops, bars and restaurants, and only a ten min walk to the beach. We've stayed in the Los Alcazares/Los Narejos area twice before and this was definitely the most convienient place we've stayed in, along with being in a quiet neighbourhood.

The property was clean, well maintained and had everything we needed for our stay, including the use of two bikes, which came in handy for a ride to the shops and beach. There was a lovely roof terrace, but it was a bit hot through the day to relax up there. The side terraces with shade were really nice to chill out in.

There was also a welcome pack on our arrival which meant no mad dash to the supermarket, we could just relax till it was time to venture out to the restaurants and bars.

The pool area was lovely, well maintained and clean. Even though it was August we had it to ourselves on more than one occasion.

All in all this is a fab place to stay and would recommend it to anyone wanting somewhere close to all the amenities.

Clean, well maintained and equipped accommadation in a quiet area Choice of outside space for eating,relaxing or sunbathing.Swimming pool on the doorstep which is spotless.Five minutes from airport.Plenty of bars,restaurants,shops and supermarkets in easy walking distance.If you hire a car there are many villages,towns ,beaches and shopping malls.Highly recommended for a relaxing holiday in the sun.

Great 2 WK Holiday

Stayed at this villa for a great 2 weeks, we got a taxi from the airport and were met at the villa by Diane who gave us a warm ,friendly welcome and showed us around. The villa was spotless and well equipped, more so than most holiday accommodation. The welcome food pack of tea coffee water etc was well received it meant we could have a sandwich before venturing to nearest supermarkets 2 of which were within 10mins walk. We used the swimming pool every day this was very clean and well maintained. The roof terrace was brilliant as were the shaded patio areas, we spent a lot of evenings here with our wine and scrabble also listening to lovely music from nearby community centre. There are 2 bikes which we found very handy for getting around. Lots to see and do the air show was on while we were there ,thoroughly enjoyed the display. Plenty of choice regarding restaurants, something to suit all tastes and budgets. There is a lot more we could say about this villa the owners Tim and Jackie really have a home from home here and it was a pleasure booking with them, so glad we found this villa and hope to return in the future. From the Owner

We have never tired of the location or the surrounding countryside and always look forward to getting back there. We were introduced to it by a good friend who had already purchased a property there. It has lost none of it's draw because of the easy relaxing life style if offers. The area is extremely level and allows you to walk with ease to most locations. The Plaza is approximately 10 mins and the Beach 15mins. A 5kms paved promenade with a Chiringuito (small wooden beach bars) every 300-400mtrs lets you take life at your own pace. - What else is a holiday for!

The Coastline of the Mar Menor in Los Alcazares offers a beautiful sandy 5kms beach with a paved promenade throughout it's length. Only a 15mins

stroll or a 5 min bike ride away. Swimming is a delight in the warm mineral rich waters, particularly safe for children as it has an extremely shallow incline.

Los Alcazares is served by San Javier airport, only a 5 min taxi ride from the villa. Alicante airport is approximately 80kms up the coast and would require a hire car.

There are supermarkets within a few minutes walk and smaller shops, grocers, fish mongers, chemists etc within 10 minutes. The Plaza is an area about a 10 minute walk which has a variety of shops, restaurants for most tastes, bars and cafes.

A Saturday street market is only a matter of minutes away held on the main road slightly nearer to the beach. The road is closed and hundreds of stalls are set up to wander around, starting at around 10am.

From the Owner

We have improved the property over the years with the addition, in 2012, of a second Shower room which has now created two private En-Suite Rooms. Having now stayed there with friends, we realize how much of an advantage it is to have 2 private rooms. We have tried to introduce a garden feel to the terraces and it offers three distinct sitting areas to follow, or shade from, the sun. The upstairs terrace is secluded.

  • Notes on accommodation: The Villa is cleaned before each Arrival. A WELCOME PACK of bread, milk, water, juice, ham etc is supplied at no cost. A contact number is supplied should you have a problem during your stay. 2 Bikes are supplied for your use at your own risk. A £50/50€ returnable deposit is required for the key to access the pool garden. We are a NO SMOKING establishment. Pets may be accommodated by special arrangement. Outside: To the front of the villa there is a small secluded seating area with 2 chairs and a small coffee table. To the side is a large garden patio with an optional sun blind giving complete shade during the heat of the day. There is a table and 4 reclining chairs supplied and charcoal BBQ. Up stairs there is a large secluded roof terrace with 2 sun loungers. Cushions are supplied with the beds and recliners. Cleaning / Towels / Linen All bed linen is supplied as are towels for villa use only. (Beach towels not supplied). There is a washing machine if you wish to freshen your linen during your stay. Hair dryers are supplied in each bedroom. An iron and board are available for your use.
