Apartment in Nerja close to Burriana Beach with sea views, Costa del Sol, Spain - Situated in Residensol complex - Peaceful location - 5 minutes walk to Burriana Beach

This is a bright, nicely furnished apartment with wonderful south facing sea views is just just 500 metres walk to the beach, with one double bedroom and two twin bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room and another full bathroom with bath/shower ,wc.It has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine. The lounge/diner has Sat tv, seating for 6 and dining table and chairs for 6. French doors lead to a south facing private covered terrace and private garden with built in BBQ. There is a communal pool and gardens. This property is in an ideal location just a few minutes walk to Burriana Beach, where there are many bars and restaurants, and also just a 15 minute walk into the centre of town.

About the Owner

I live in the UK with my partner where I run my Spanish property business from home. As well as owning our villa in Marbella and apartment in Nerja I rent out many properties for other owners. I started in 1990 when my youngest daughter was two, renting out our own apartment and then other owners asked me to rent their properties. I love my business and Spain. We travel backwards and forwards from England and only takes 6 hours from door to door! Our villa is just 20 minutes drive from Malaga airport. We especially like to go in the winter months to capture the sun and warm days. I like running along the many sandy beaches or strolling along with my partner. New hobby is stand up paddle boarding. I also like to go to the local market for fresh veg and salad as well as the clothes!

"Just to say thank you for providing an excellent service for our holiday in Nerja last week (Oct 2010). We were a party of two couples and have all stayed in Nerja many times. The apartment at Residensol was rated our best yet, even compared to villas with private pools on previous occasions. This was because the apartment was superbly equipped, the location was perfect, not directly on the beach front and with easy access to town. The sea views were good and the terrace had plenty of eating areas and loungers. There is also a little garden and lots of pot plants. We had the communal pool to ourselves every day although this would probably be different in peak season.

This is a well-designed apartment and Residensol is geared more towards adults. It is in an elevated position and has lots of steps, although there is a lift to the first level. We will definitely be staying in this apartment again. It was wonderful to meet Bea who was available if we needed her & we look forward to future visits. Fantastic Place in the Sun!

We had a fantastic stay in this apartment, it felt very homely! There was everything you ever needed in the apartment. The outdoor space and sun loungers where lovely. We used the pool everyday, it was perfect. The only thing we would say, is that in order to walk anywhere there are lots of hills!!! But that wasn't anything to do with the apartment, Nerja is quite hilly so maybe wouldn't suit everyone! Perfect holiday, thank you.

There are many activities in Nerja and areas close by - walking, horse riding, tennis, sailing, scuba diving, boating, paddle boarding, swimming and tours to the Alhambra Palace and many other tourist attractions.

Friend of mine - Maggie, organises tours for small groups to the three little white historic villages in the Alpujarra mountains just 1 hour drive away with tapas trails (and hiking if you wish)

Coast/Beach:

just 500 metres to Burriana beach where there are many nice restaurants, bars and shops and all sorts of water sports on the beach including scuba diving, boating and paddle boarding.

Nerja is on the seashore some 50 kilometres from Málaga on the N340 coastal highway, and marks the eastern tip of Málaga's Costa del Sol. Once a sleepy fishing village, the town now has a population of over 12,000. Nerja boasts 16 kilometres of beaches with powdery sand and sparkling clear water. All major water sports are available here, including water skiing, scuba diving and sailing. Flanked by a dramatic mountain range, Sierra Almijara, to the east, the town has, fortunately, managed to avoid being blighted by the concrete high-rise scenario which has been the inevitable result of the tourist boom in some of the coastal resorts. The old quarter of the town is still virtually unchanged with narrow, winding streets, whitewashed houses with wrought iron terraces overflowing with geraniums, on which a canary can sometimes be heard singing...
