Beautifully furnished two bedroom apartment only 300 metres from Burriana Beach where you will find many nice restaurants and shops. The sunny terrace overlooks the gardens with communal pool. It has a fully equipped with kitchen with oven/hob, washing machine, and fridge/freezer and microwave. The lounge-dining room has satellite TV, dining room table and chairs, sofas and patio doors leading to south west facing terrace with sun loungers and patio table and chairs. There is a double bedroom and twin bedroom with full bathroom-bath ,shower and wc. Air con in the lounge and main bedroom. There is also free wi fi in the communal area downstairs in the apartment block.

About the Owner

I live in the UK with my partner where I run my Spanish property business from home. As well as owning our villa in Marbella and apartment in Nerja I rent out many properties for other owners. I started in 1990 when my youngest daughter was two, renting out our own apartment and then other owners asked me to rent their properties. I love my business and Spain. We travel backwards and forwards from England and only takes 6 hours from door to door! Our villa is just 20 minutes drive from Malaga airport. We especially like to go in the winter months to capture the sun and warm days. I like running along the many sandy beaches or strolling along with my partner. New hobby is stand up paddle boarding. I also like to go to the local market for fresh veg and salad as well as the clothes!

There are many activities in Nerja and areas close by - walking, horse riding, tennis, sailing, scuba diving, boating, paddle boarding, swimming and tours to the Alhambra Palace and many other tourist attractions.

Friend of mine - Maggie, organises tours for small groups to the three little white historic villages in the Alpujarra mountains just 1 hour drive away with tapas trails (and hiking if you wish) – ask me for her contact details if interested.

Burriana beach has many nice restaurants, bars and shops and all sorts of water sports on the beach including scuba diving, boating and paddle boarding

Nerja is on the seashore some 50 kilometres from Málaga on the N340 coastal highway, and marks the eastern tip of Málaga's Costa del Sol. Once a sleepy fishing village, the town now has a population of over 12,000. Nerja boasts 16 kilometres of beaches with powdery sand and sparkling clear water. All major water sports are available here, including water skiing, scuba diving and sailing. Flanked by a dramatic mountain range, Sierra Almijara, to the east, the town has, fortunately, managed to avoid being blighted by the concrete high-rise scenario which has been the inevitable result of the tourist boom in some of the coastal resorts. The old quarter of the town is still virtually unchanged with narrow, winding streets, whitewashed houses with wrought iron terraces overflowing with geraniums, on which a canary can sometimes be heard singing... However, the heart of Nerja is its spectacular Balcón de Europa, the "Balcony of Europe", a magnificent promenade along the edge of a towering cliff, once the site of the great Moorish castle, with sweeping panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the small coves and beaches below, against an awesome backdrop of hazy blue mountains. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes here to choose from, and the visitor can hire a horse-drawn carriage to explore the most romantic corner of the town. The town's monuments include the 17th century Church of El Salvador, in a style which is a charming mixture of baroque and Moorish, or mudéjar, and the beautiful Gardens of Capistrano Playa, which descend to Burriana Beach. However, Nerja's most spectacular attraction is undoubtedly its fascinating caves, located just three kilometres from the centre of town. They include archaeological treasures such as paintings over 20,000 years old and other pre-historic remains. One of the enormous natural caverns has been transformed into a concert hall, where many performances are staged during the summer.
