About the Owner
I am a lover of all that Cornwall has to offer, great beaches, great people, fantastic scenery and typical country pubs.
We also like to travel and the Canary Islands, Caribbean and Australia are my passion. Water draws me like a magnet. Either in it or on it I just have to be near it.

Gweek's a winner
We have just completed a one week's stay in this exceptional property in Gweek, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. From the friendly personal welcome and the welcome hamper onwards everything was just as we wished and as for Gweek itself it's a wonderful serene place to stay.

“.Luxury without the cost. The Gallery is about space in a nice setting close to the river, local pub and shop. There are nice walks close by and for beach lovers a massive choice in all directions. The Gallery offers an unique holiday property unlike an apartment in a big noisy block with lots of noise and kids running around.”

We have river beaches on the Helford or ocean beaches all within a short drive. For quiet secluded beaches we recommend Kynance cove,Gunwallow, Church cove, Dollar cove all on the Lizard. For other beaches we have Portleven, St Ives, Newquay, Falmouth and Marazion with the iconic St Michels Mount.
For surfers great waves can be found at Porthleven, Godrevy, Porttowan, St Ives and Newquay.
Most people coming to Cornwall drive down the A30 but if you want to fly try Newquay airport and arrange a car hire to waiting for yo and save the drive down. The main line railway stops at Truro and Redruth again car hire can be arranged. There several coach companies that will drop off in the main towns.
The Black Swan public house is only a few steps away but is very quiet and not noisey. The village shop is a two minute walk. Our next village is Constantine with a few more shops and pubs. A favoutite of ours is the Trengilly Wartha pub which is about 10 minutes drive or the Ship Wrights at Helford overlooking the River.
In Helston we have Tescos and Sainsbury supermarkets as well as the high street shops. In Penryn we have a large Asda store and a little further on is Falmouth with its High street, Harbour, Maritime Museum, docks and beaches.

“.Set in a peaceful location where village life can be enjoyed but close enough to all that holidaymakers expect from the best location in the British Isles. To meet the locals visit the Black Swan pub or on a Wednesday evening the village green comes alive with the arrival of Sid's fish and chip van where we all meet for supper and pint brought over the the pub to wash it down.”
