The Norfolk Broads and the popular sea-side town of Great Yarmouth are close by. The chalet park is also on a bus route, the bus stop is at the site entrance.

I am Penny West, the owner of Trinity Chalets, California, Scratby, Norfolk. I will take your enquiries, bookings and answer your questions. I will also get your chalet ready for your stay.
I have lived locally for most of my life and love the area. It has so much to offer during the Summer months and is great out of season.

“We love the sea side location of the chalets, just five minutes walk from a beautiful sandy beach. We were pleased to find three adjoining chalets, perfect for family and friends to stay in together, each having their own space but close enough to share meals, evenings and babysitting.The chalets are on the family run Sunbeach Holiday Village, and are set within well kept lawns. Dutch's Tavern is near by for drinks, meals and live entertainment.Children can play together safely while the adults watch them from the chalet or porch. The popular sea side town of Great Yarmouth is only 5 miles away, here you will find many shops and places to visit. In the village of Scratby there are several places to eat, grocery stores and amusements, all within walking distance of the chalets.”
Activity and Interests
The beautiful sandy beach is 5 minutes walk from the chalet. It is accessed by a slope and steps, so is not suitable for people in wheel chairs. A shop with all the sea-side equipment needed is on the way to the beach. There is also beach access further along the coast without the steps, giving easier access for people with limited mobility.
Norwich is the nearest airport, it is about 20 miles away.
Harwich is the nearest sea port, it is about 60 miles away.
Great Yarmouth has a railway station, trains arrive here regularly.
Local buses travel to the holiday site from Great Yarmouth.
The chalets are on the Sunbeach Holiday Village site in the village of California,Scratby. There are several small shops, places to eat, pubs and amusements in the village. It is a popular destination for families, some return year after year. Great Yarmouth is the closest town, it has a good selection of shops and supermarkets and a buzzing market (Friday, Saturday and Wednesdays). Locally there are many places of interest to visit, whatever the weather, leaflets provided in each chalet.
Great Yarmouth has an Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury, Lidl and Aldi supermarkets. Caister has a Tesco and Lidl supermarkets. Great Yarmouth has branches of most banks, it also has a drop in doctors facility. Great Yarmouth also has a Sea Life Centre, a circus, cinema, model village and several museums including the award winning Time and Tide.
Many of the local pubs serve excellent food, California Tavern especially has a great reputation for food and live entertainment.
The Norfolk Broads are within a few miles of the chalets, offering boat trips, fishing and bird watching.

All bookings are taken by the owner, Mrs Penny West. Initial contact is best through emails, although for last minute enquiries a text request is best. Holidays are reserved with a £50 deposit, the remaining payment to be made one month before the start of your holiday.
Payments can be made either by bank transfer or cheque, late bookings by cash.
Flexible change over days are often available by arrangement with the owner. Check in time is 4pm with a check out time of 10am on your last day.
Notes on prices:
A non refundable deposit of £50 will reserve your holiday, the balance to be paid one month before your holiday begins.
Well behaved pets stay for an additional charge of £25, paid for with your balance.
Payments direct to owner, Mrs P West, by bank to bank transfer or cheques. For some late bookings cash on arrival can sometimes be arranged.

“The chalets are all well maintained, clean and comfortable, a home from home. They are well equipped and electricity is by £1 coin meters. Each chalet has a double and twin room, an additional fold down bed is provided if needed. Electric heaters are provided for each room to ensure you stay warm whatever the weather or season. The chalet kitchens will be refurbished in the Spring, each has all you need for your stay, whether you decide to eat in or dine out. There is ample parking directly behind the chalets for your car. Guests are welcome to bring their well behaved pets with them for a small additional cost of £25 for each animal. Each of the chalets has a bath. The chalets are suitable for couples, families or friends to stay together, all the accommodation is on one level.”

- Notes on accommodation: Each chalet has a well equipped kitchen, recently re-fitted. The living rooms each have comfortable three piece suites and a table and four dining chairs. There is a double bedroom and a twin room, each has bedside tables with lamps. An additional fold down bed is also provided for a fifth guest. All beds have duvets and pillows. both bedrooms have large fitted wardrobes Guests are requested to bring their own bed linen and towels. The bathrooms are small but each has a full sized bath, a basin and toilet. Voile curtains in all rooms protect guests privacy. Each chalet has a small porch, two garden chairs are provided to use on these. The front of the chalets faces west and so gets the sun in the afternoons. The surrounding grassed area is ideal for children to play on safely under the watchful eye of an adult. Cars can be parked directly behind the chalet where there is ample parking. Each chalet has a digital television and a DVD player. Outside: There is a small porch at the front of each chalet, two garden chairs are provided for guests to use. The chalets are set in grassed areas with car parking directly behind them. The site has Dutchy's Tavern close by, they serve drinks and food and often have live entertainment. Entry is free. California Sands, the adjoining site, also has a small shop, café, amusements, an indoor swimming poor and the Oasis Club. A small charge is made to use the club and swimming pool.
