It has a private courtyard with Mediterranean plants, second kitchen and games area and garage . The secluded private walled courtyard is planted with colourful Mediterranean shrubs and climbers and is sunny from 10.00 onwards. An attractive shady area has been created for summer use. Wonderful for exterior living, eating breakfast outside or a warm summer evening BBQ.The courtyard is not shared , for your use exclusively . Other wonderful beaches can be reached by car within 10 minutes .

You can also buy fresh fish daily from boats moored in the quayside.

7 people, 3 generations and 1 wonderful place! Here you have the ingredients for a perfect week of holidays in Port-Vendres. "Croix Blanche house" is very bright, clean and spacious. And conveniently located, only a footstep away from the harbour, in a quiet street. The kids were delighted to have a baby-foot AND a ping-pong table and a bathroom for each room. How could we ever leave this marvellous place?

3 générations réunies avec 7 personnes dont 3 enfants/ados qui ont bien profité du baby-foot;)

La maison est très spacieuse, joliment décorée et chacun a vite trouvé son espace et sa salle de bain.

Fantastic holiday in lovely clean spacious apartme

My family and I (8 adults +1 baby) loved our stay. The apartment was clean, spacious, uncluttered and had everything we needed to be comfortable on our holiday. The owners were very friendly and even provided some fruit from their own garden when we met which was lovely! The apartment is ideally suited to access the shops and bars in the port and for walking. We would highly recommend the beach at Paulille which is a short drive away. We were all very sad to leave and have many happy memories of barbecues on the terrace. Thank you Susan and Ian for sharing your apartment with us.

Swimming, diving, canoeing, sea kayak, all watersports are available, as well as fishing, sea fishing and deep sea diving. This is a coastal venue and there is plenty of choice of activities to enjoy , with qualified instructors available.


This is a coastal venue. The port and marina are surrounded by little beaches called Les Anses. The closest, Anse des Tamarins and Anse Bear, can be reached on foot on the way to visit the Jetty and lighthouse which guard the port. Other wonderful beaches can be reached by car within 10 minutes, following the coast in both directions, towards Collioure, le Racou and Argeles or at Paulliles going towards Banyuls and Spain.


Flights to Perpignan about 40 mins , Carcassonne ; Beziers or Girona ( Spain) about 80 mins, or Barcelona . Low cost flights available with Ryanair and Easy jet . New fast , high speed train from Barcelona

Collioure is 2km away, Perpignan 25km, Spanish border 15km.

We are round the corner from local bakery, greengrocer and grocers, as well as the renowned Fish Market and gastronomic restaurants along the marina quayside of the port . You can also buy fresh fish daily from boats moored in the quayside. This area where the Pyrenees meets the sea is wonderful for walking and cycling . Discover the coastal paths, the famous GR10 runs above the town . We are surrounded by dramatic terraced vineyards and historic forts and castles. Walk through the protected areas of beauty and natural interest. . Remember that freshly caught fish and sea food is the speciality of this historic port.

Deposit of 25% as reservation with booking. Balance payable on arrival. Security deposit of £300 held during your stay and fully refunded with 7 days as long as cleaning of the apartment is done and there is no damage. 10% reduction for second consecutive week stay.

Changeover Day:
Normally weekly, Saturday arrival commencing at 4.00 pm ,vacating following Saturday 10am. Times are guidelines, vary according to travel plans .
Families and groups wanting to come for a long weekend or a mid-week visit can usually be accommodated

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 7 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
