First and second floor apartment in the heart of this quaint seaside town only a stone's throw away from Award winning beach. Lovely sea views. The property boasts 2 large bedrooms; main bedroom has king size bed, en-suite bathroom, chest of draws and wardrobe. The 2nd bedroom is a twin bedded room with an en-suite shower and toilet, built in wardbrobe and shelving area. The apartment has a large open plan kitchen/living room. Lovely break

Had a very nice time in Swanage. The accommodation was very well placed and also clean and had everything that was needed.

Would definitely stay again. Lovely having two bathrooms.

Even better than before

Back again for the autumn steam gala at the nearby Swanage Railway. As before, the flat was clean and well equipped, comfortable and convenient for everything.

There is now a coffee maker (commented on in my review a year ago) which just makes the flat perfect.

And yes, we will be back!

Clean, central, nice and bright.

A lovely clean and bright apartment. We were short of nothing as all rooms well equipped for what you need. The owner was quick to help with any questions leading up to our stay. Swanage is a lovely town, so nice to find somewhere affordable, comfortable and so close to all the amenities.

Lovely, light filled apartment in a great location.

The apartment was even nicer than the photos showed. It had a nicely updated and well equipped kitchen. The bathrooms were modern and bedrooms were nicely outfitted with storage for our stuff. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure was fine too. The location was awesome since it was right in town and yet only a short distance to the water. The view from the kitchen/living room was nice. All the rooms had windows and/ or skylights so the apartment felt very airy and comfortable. My son was able to attend Tank Fest at the Tank Museum with just a 20 minute drive. In addition, my girls zip-lined onto the beach from the Pier in Bournemouth and all my kids enjoyed the aquarium at Bournemouth also. We were able to drive to Shell beach which was a lovely beach; much larger than I would have expected. The apartment is above a shop, but the town gets very quiet after 6 pm so it was not a problem. It also is basically on the third and fourth floor of the building, so be prepared for the stairs, but again this wasn't a problem for us either. There is a small amusement park at the beach with mini golf which my kids enjoyed.They also enjoyed the arcades and going into the shops in town. We didn't have a problem finding parking in the public pay lots, however we choose the lot up the hill so we did get some exercise going back and forth. Having the loading/unloading across from the apartment made the check-in and check- out with all our stuff much easier. I would recommend this apartment to anyone as long as they don't mind walking up stairs.

I have lived in the area for over 23 years and had the opportunity to buy a property in the town centre with views overlooking the bay. The property is on the doorstep of the town's award winning beach, in the hub of the shops, restaurants and pubs. Yet close enough the downs and coastal paths.

Nearest Ferry : Poole, Channel Ferry / Sandbanks Chain Ferry at 20 Miles Nearest Train : Wareham Mainline at 11 Miles

Coast/Beach:

The town beach is located approx. 50M (<1 min walk)

Studland beach is 3.8 miles (10 min drive)

Travel:

Swanage can be accessed by train to Wareham from London Waterloo, then by bus or taxi. A car is not essential during your stay in Swanage as there is so much on hand in Swanage and there are regular bus services to Poole and Bournemouth. The steam railway runs regularly to the stunning village of Corfe. Poole Channel Ferry Port is only 20 miles away (40mins drive). The nearest airport is Bournemouth

Distances:

Durlston Country Park is only 1.5 miles away.

Studland Beach is 3.8 miles

Corfe is 5.5 miles

Blue Poole 11 miles

Ideal location, on the Jurassic Coast, a stones throw away from beaches. The town has many restaurants, cafes and pubs, all on your doorstep. There are 2 supermarkets. The town has a theatre which shows a variety of acts / films. The pier and downs are all within 3-4 mins walking distance. Fabulous walks - Durlston Country Park being only 1.8 miles away, with a newly renovated Castle/Heritage Centre. Old Harry's Rocks, Kimmeridge, Lulworth Cove, Blue Pool are all stunning areas, with beautiful walks, and only a short drive away. There are many special events throughout the year for all to enjoy; Swanage Carnival, Jazz, Blues and Folk Festivals, Purbeck Arts Week, Comedy Festival. The steam railway has regular services to Corfe Castle during peak season.

Utility Room: Washing machine is housed in under-stairs cupboard, as is ironing board, iron and clothes airer.
