About the property

House in Cromer, North Norfolk, Norfolk, England - Perfect for Couples or a Family, Peaceful Location, Close to Shops, Restaurants and the Sea.

This is an ideal property for a relaxing holiday on the North Norfolk Coast.

Sitting within a quiet courtyard development in the heart of Cromer, this pretty Mews House is a couple of minutes walk to the beach. Furnished to a high standard, it's bright colourful interior has rooms on three levels, sleeps 4/5 and offers a comfortable "home from home" experience.

The Mews is well placed for all the local shops, friendly pubs and places to eat out as well as being a good base for touring along the spectacular coastline and beautiful country villages. Only 22 miles from the historic City of Norwich, Cromer caters for a wide range of interests. The town has a Multiplex Cinema, a Surf School, a Pier with a Theatre and Lifeboat Station, stunning beaches and promenade.

Cromer consistently receives a 'blue flag' for it's beaches and you'll see the fishing boats going out every morning in the Summer and bringing in delicious fresh Crabs and Lobsters.

Cromer has a popular Carnival each year starting in early August culminating in a wonderful firework display.

New Year's Day also sees a spectacular firework display over the sea.

In the town centre is a majestic church which has a tower with spectacular views. At the back of the church is an interesting museum where you can see some of the history of the town.

Cromer's famous pier has a theatre providing all year round entertainment, including Summer and Christmas Specials.

There are many restaurants including Michelin starred chef Galton Blackiston's "Number One" restaurants. "Upstairs" provides a varied menu and great Tapas while downstairs is a first rate fish and chip restaurant. Both have stunning views of the sea and the pier.

There is a great farm shop nearby with fresh local produce and a range of wine and cheeses.

About Avril Carson

I fell in love with Cromer 7 years ago when I bought a holiday flat here.

I soon realised I was tired of London and moved here in 2014 when I also bought the Mews. It was a new build and I took my time getting it ready for guests and have rented it out since 2015. It has been a great success.

I still love Cromer and swim every day in the Summer and I run on the beach most days. We live nearby and can be here to welcome you on most changeover days and answer any of your questions.

A very well equipped holiday house in a fantastic location. All of the facilities of Cromer are within easy walking distance. Avril was very helpful and keen to ensure we had the best break possible! Our needs were diverse (our daughter has special needs and we took our 93 year old father) but the resort, and in particular this immaculate holiday home, catered for all.

We stayed in this cottage for carnival week. The cottage was beautiful, clean and equipped with everything you could possibly want. We would definitely stay here again next time we visit Cromer.

Well done Avril 😀

Great little house to stay in. Avril has provided everything and more to make your stay comfortable. Couldn't be any nearer the centre of Cromer.

Will certainly return.

Great location

  • 4 of 5

We have stayed at this property on 2 occasions now and we are returning for a week in the summer. The property is in a great location in the centre of Cromer just behind the High St. The property is like a home from home with everything you need. It is very modern and well maintained, it has 3 good sized bedrooms, which are very tastefully decorated. There is an open plan kitchen, diner, lounge. It is a 2 minute walk to the beach & pier. The owner provides great customer service and I would have no hesitation in recommending this property.

A real find

  • 5 of 5

What a great place! So quiet and yet still so close to the centre of town. The house is comfortable and cosy, clean and well equipped. The decor is tasteful, fresh and attractive, and each room so beautifully done. This is the kind of place you’ll want to return to again and again - a sanctuary - a real find.

winter retreat

  • 5 of 5

This mews house is beautifully decorated, super clean and felt like a luxurious retreat for the winter. The beds were so comfortable I felt I was in a 5 star hotel.

The open plan kitchen/dining/living area was a joy to cook in and a delight to socialise in.

The beach is a few minutes walk away and the local shops at your doorstep.

I shall definitely be back for the summers!
