About the Owner
We are a family of 5 who live on the West Coast of Scotland but do like some sunshine so try to get out Fuerteventura as much as possible. The island offers year round sunshine but is only a 4 hour flight from the UK which is very important when travelling with small children.

“We bought this villa in Corralejo due to its proximity to local amenities and its walking distance to the centre of town. It is situated on a quiet gated complex of 21 villas so is secure and quiet despite being within a stones through of cafes and bars. The villa has bright spacious rooms and a south facing sun terrace and pool which really catches the sun and is protected from the northerly breezes.”

Fuerteventura attracts water sports addicts from all over the world. Correlajo is ideal suited as a base for exploring the wind and waves of the famous "Northshore".
Cycling is becoming ever more popular on the island due to its smooth road surface and interesting landscape. The rocky volcanos are idea for those seeking motioning biking challenges with several routes to suit all levels.
10-15 minute walk. White sand beaches of Corralejo. North shore of Fuerteventura is excellent for windsurfing, surfing and kitesurfing.
Puerto del Rosario is the closest airport a short 30 min drive away. There is also a regular bus service from the airport to Corralejo if you do not want to hire a car or take a taxi.
The ferry to Lanzarote sails from the harbour which is a 20-25 min walk from the property should you fancy doing some sightseeing there. It is also home to several boat charter operations offering fishing, sightseeing and diving.
