About Lisa Rattray

David and Lisa originally from Fife and Cumbria worked for many years in London’s musical higher education. Having enjoyed various stays in Fife they were delighted in 2009 to acquire the Wemyss cottage finding it the perfect bolt-hole, travelling there with their two children whenever possible, the serene setting providing the perfect antidote to city life, no matter the season. Having discovering a real affection for the area they recently relocated to a leafy part of nearby Kirckcaldy. It was decided to retain the cottage for visiting acquaintances and to share through Owners Direct.

Lisa Rattray purchased this cottage in 2010

House is in a beautiful location. Very clean, warm and well equipped with everything you might need. Thank you for the grocery pack - especially the milk. Would absolutely recommend the local cafe - superb home made soup and delicious cakes

Lovely location and comfortably property

  • 4 of 5

The house location was ideal for visiting Fife. The view from the back of the house was lovely and the bottle of presecco went down a treat while relaxing on the patio. The house was clean and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped. The beds were comfortably and the black out binds allowed us to have a nice lay in on a sunny morning! We had some nice walks along the coast to Dysatt and into the village of Coaltown of Wemyss. Further afield, St Andrews is definitely worth a visit. We would certainly stay at this house again.
