Perfect Family Holiday Villa

This lovingly maintained villa will provide the perfect setting for a super relaxed holiday. Ideal for families/families sharing or groups. The first thing you will notice from the balcony of this property is the incredible mountain view, which overlooks the lush valley of orange groves. Enjoy breakfast, lunch and tea from the balcony, as well as chilled out evenings watching the sun go down.

From your sun lounger by the brand new private pool you can enjoy the same stunning views, enjoy a barbeque or paella on the spacious patio area by the pool, whilst the kids play.

For days out, the soft sandy stretches of beach are plentiful, with the closest just a 10 minute drive away. Waterparks, lakes, cathedrals, zoos and aquariums as well as the City of Arts and Sciences and Valencia city as a whole boasting a host of attractions are all between 10 minutes and 1 hours drive.

Travel by car is recommended whilst you stay at the property, although there are also many amenities within walking distance. Award winning 18 hole golf course La Galiana Campo de Golf set in the valley of Aguas Vivas is a must to visit, even if just for a drink or meal in the cafe that overlooks the course, as well as other restaurants and cafes which are just a 5 minute walk into the village of Aguas Vivas.

great property, great location
This villa was bigger than I initially thought, plenty of room for a family. Nice layout, easy to keep an eye on the children when outside. Clean,tidy and very well maintained. A great place for a quiet break. La Barraca is a beautiful part of the Valencia region, fantastic views, mountain walks, peace and quiet. Great location being 10 mins from the towns of Tavernes, Alzira and Carcaixent (where we had great Tapas). Good parking at Alzira train station where you can easily take a half hour journey into the centre of Valencia. You can also drive it in 30 minutes, but Valencia parking was not easy. Beaches at Gandia and Tavernes were very nice and only 15 and 20 minutes in slow car journey. All in all it was a great holiday that we all enjoyed... but you will need a car!

Peaceful family holiday, beautiful views.
Villa located in a quiet residential area off the busy highway that offers access to local areas and larger towns/cities. A car is definitely essential here. The local shops are in walking distance down the windy hill where you'll find a local grocery store, bar, pharmacy and restaurant (Casa Tony which sadly, would not recommend for anything other than drinks or snacks). Our favourite beach was Cullera only 25 mins away. The property itself has the wow factor in terms of the view from the balcony and all in all, served our family of 4 adults and 3 children well. The pool was on the small side if we all used at the same time but the children loved it and was enough for them (aged 6, 9 &10). We stayed mid to late August 2016, temperatures were in the 30's most days and we alternated between days out, the beach and the villa. When it got too hot, the children took themselves downstairs to the games room which they enjoyed. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this property and with a few tweaks here and there, it would have 5 stars.

Great location
Can very much recommend this beautiful villa. The view has to be seen to be believed. Definetly not in the heart of things but great if your wanting some peace and quiet. Special thanks to Mark for saving the day and helping us lower the cot on the first evening.

Ce que nous avons aimé : - La villa est très agréable, avec une vue magnifique, et elle est très bien équipée. Elle ne manque de rien et est très pratique. - L'emplacement est très bien si l'on recherche le calme, bien que cela soit assez éloigné de tout commerce à pied. - Katya, la propriétaire, a su nous guider pour l'arrivée et a été assez disponible. Même si le jour où nous avons eu le plus besoin d'elle, elle n'était pas disponible, le lendemain elle a résolu le problème :) Ce que nous avons moins aimé : - La piscine était sale à notre arrivée, même si le problème a été rapidement résolu. - Nous pensions que la piscine était sans vis-à-vis, mais de l'autre côté de la rue, il y a un immeuble qui offre une belle vue sur la piscine. - Le code GPS sur Google Maps nous a dirigés très loin du logement.

We bought this villa in 2003 and lovingly reformed it over 2 years with a view to renting it for holiday rentals. We loved it so much that we ended up living in it for 8 years!!!

We moved there with our 1 year old (see our profile photo of the day we arrived!) in 2003 and continued to live there as our family grew, so the house is child friendly for toddlers and children. We renovated and extended the property to ensure that there's also plenty of space to play and have fun.

We have maintained the property over the years to ensure its in tip top condition for holiday makers.

We have employed trusted cleaners and pool maintenance attendants to carry out changeovers and be on hand for any reason whilst holidays makers are staying in the property.

Why they chose this property

You´ll see why we bought the property the minute you step onto the balcony! The views are incredible.

The area is full of such lovely people, culture and, of course, a beautiful climate.

It has the feel of being away from it all, but is within easy reach of towns and cities should you wish.

What makes this property unique

We love sitting on the balcony taking in the mountains and lush green orange groves. The kids absolutely love dipping in and out of the pool.

Warm evenings are particularly special..again on the balcony!...listening to the crickets and watching the sun go down...bliss!!
