Lovely property.

Lovely, modern and comfortable cottage with a great sized garden and hot tub. The owners made us feel very welcome and couldn't have been more helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Fantastic week away

  • 5 of 5

We have just returned from a fantastic week away at Rectory Cottage, the property was wonderful and exceeded our expectations in every way!

The welcome basket on arrival was lovely as were the eggs from the rectory hens. Nick and Deborah responded quickly to our queries on the run up to the holiday and were also on hand during in the week but allowed us our own privacy throughout.

The cottage was finished and furnished to an extremely high standard and was absolutely spotless. We would thoroughly recommend the cottage for a relaxing holiday away in beautiful surroundings and hope to return ourselves in the future!

Brilliant

  • 5 of 5

The cottage was located in a small village with a very welcoming pub that served good food within two minutes walk. The cottage was very well appointed with three large double bedrooms with their own en-suite facilities. The lounge, dining and kitchen area was encompassed in an open plan ground floor which was very large and easily accommodated the five of us staying there. The decor throughout was very tastefully done and in very clean and tidy condition. While we were visiting the property suffered a power faluire caused by overnight storms, the owners called an electrician to check the supply which was found to be as a result of the suppliers network failure. This was resolved in about an hour and although it was not the owners fault they gave us a gift of wine and chocolates as compensation. Although the weather was cold we used the hot tub on several occasions after a long days walking and it provided welcome relief. Overall I would highly recommend this cottage to friends and relatives.

Absolutely Beautiful!

  • 5 of 5

Rectory Cottage is such a beautiful place and we couldn't recommend it enough. Not only is it very spacious and wonderfully presented but the attention to detail of the owners, welcome pack and warm personal welcome really make this a stand-out holiday cottage.

We spent a long weekend here in late September and had such a wonderful time. We would thoroughly recommend it and intend to revisit whenever we find ourselves back in the region.

wow..... just wow....

Arrived on the Saturday to a welcome surprise comprising of a basket full of essentials! Milk, bread etc (sadly no wine!)

Found the cottage to be absolutely stunning, well decorated, beautifully furnished and very clean.

And it's also ideally located between the north and south coasts so there's plenty to do and see ( we recommend the west Somerset railway and the cliff walks at beer)

Will certainly recommend to family and friends!!!

(And we did try and say goodbye but there was no answer when we knocked?)
