Guestbook comments from the owner

“We had a fantastic holiday, the cottage was everything we hoped it would be and more.”

“We had a really excellent holiday back in March. The cottage was brilliant; great location, spacious and cosy with everything we needed. We had brilliant weather and the surf was working on at least a few days. Would definitely come back or recommend it to friends.”

"STUNNING Cottage! Perfect break from London! Thank You!"

On approaching this beautiful cottage, we found ourselves walking down this really quaint back path to the cottage, which looks so sweet from outside. We were even more delighted when we went into the cottage - it has so much character and is really beautifully designed. It really is in the most perfect location, with a brilliant pub across the road and the beach minutes away. My partner being a surfer, was happy to run to the beach every day to get a good surf in, and we would wind up back in the pub afterwards with some lovely locals! We really want to thank the owner for our stay, because the cottage is in beautiful condition, comfortable bed, and good satellite TV! Brilliant price! Will recommend! Thank You!

Comfortable, spacious, delightful

  • 5 of 5

The location was spot on, lovely picturesque short walk to the village amenities, pub just across the road, the beach was further away, but as we had dogs we used Saunton Sands, which we drive to anyway. Very clean and comfortable, offered everything you needed to enjoy your stay. Parking could have been a problem, but the pub staff were very lovely and allowed us to use their car park. Croyde is a great place to explore this region of North Devon. Brilliant relaxing holiday - highly recommended

Very poor accommodation

  • 1 of 5

The village is really lovely, The accommodation was a let down heating came on at about 3pm then went off at 6pm that was it, Freezing through the night, no towels were provided only ones fit for the dogs, the cottage really needs a make over very shabby the downstairs bed was really uncomfortable so had to sleep on the sofa and the garden is 10ft square piece of grass first you go up a few steps then theres a walk up a bit of a hill definitely not attached to the cottage no good for elderly or disabled really not a good place for dogs we took 2 coz were told there was an enclosed garden, there was a 5ft square patio which was a shared walk way for other cottages, very claustrophobic will not be going back
