Lagos town center is a couple of minutes from here where you will pass the many restaurants & bars that cater for all tastes (not just seafood).

I live in the north east England and have been going to the Algarve with my family for many years.

We always wanted to buy an apartment there but until we visited Lagos and enjoyed it so much we were hooked.

We are a well traveled family that has discovered many parts of the world. Many years ago we discovered the Algarve the only thing i can say is why not sooner.

After spending 7 years in the South of France we thought we had seen it all sadly we had to leave France only to discover the Algarve, and what a find with its abundance of sandy beaches forever going caves & coast lines not to mention excellent value for money restaurants, & shops.

We have visited Lagos on four separate occasions and found this apartment to be exactly as described. We had a fantastic time the apartment was of a very high standard. We are already looking at booking the apartment again soon, fantastic value for money, would highly recommend, very easy dealing with the owner (Mr Harkness) as he was very helpful with dealing with any queries we had.



I have travelled all over Europe with my wife and children and have have experienced the Algarve to be child friendly and great for adults aswell. The apartment is outstanding especially with been on the top floor, having young children the child facilities not just the cot and high chair that is normally supplied the owner has even supplied child friendly cups, plates, etc.

We would highly recommend as nothing seemed to be too much trouble.

My fabulous experience

I had a pleasant experience when I visited Lagos as I hadn't travelled to Portugal before.

I was extremely impressed with the apartment and it's spaciousness.

All the information that Rik provided to me before holidaying was most informative.

I found that the locals were friendly and helpful. All amenities were on the doorstep.

I'm looking forward to visiting again very soon.

Fabulous Apartment !

Firstly, the whole booking experience was first class, Rik could not do enough for us and at the same time arranged airport transfers and a welcome pack.

This truly is a fantastic fully equipped spacious modern apartment within a 15 minute walk to the centre of Lagos. The huge balcony is south facing and a great space to enjoy a chilled beer after a day of sunbathing !

The pool area was very clean and quiet with plenty of space to position your sunbed in either the sun or shade.

There are plenty of restaurants and bars in Lagos, I would recommend booking a table at Henriques and enjoying a cocktail or 2 on the top floor of Bar Vivant.

I would highly recommend Rik's apartment and we will definitely be back in the future.

Loved it (again!)

Our second consecutive year at Riks place and if anything it was better this year than last (if that's possible). We luv this place. The kitchen truly is fully equipped and every room on the apartment leads out onto the massive balcony. I like the fact the the 2 bedrooms are at opposite ends of the apartment. Apart from anything else it stops the kids complaining about my snoring. The master bedroom has an en suite and the twin room has a bathroom right next door. As the only man in the house this means I didn't have to wait too long to get into the bathroom. The living area is very comfortable and of course the kids love the great selection of telly channels and wifi. If like us you hire a car you have a private parking space in the basement which also contains loungers for the pool. We love the location with 3 different supermarkets within a few minutes stroll. If you're thinking of going further than Lagos the apartment is at the right end of town for places like Luz, Burgau and Selima which all have luvly beaches. I cant recommend this apartment highly enough. We just wouldn't stay anywhere else.

It is like a home from home

I echo what the previous reviewer said. We have never had accommodation with a kitchen so well equipped! My brother and family were staying in another apartment in the complex at the same time as us and they were very envious as they were so limited in what they could do food wise in their kitchen. Balcony is huge which was great as I could wash every day and hang the clothes out of the way of the table and lounges. Apartment itself was spacious with a great selection of TV channels and an Xbox 360 which my son was delighted with. WIFI was excellent too. We would stay here again the next time we visit Lagos.

This apartment is exactly what it says on the tin

Amazing, couldn't fault this appartment. was spotlessly clean, extremely spacious, with a very well equipped kitchen. Balcony was superb, a pleasure to sit on and chill out and got the sun from approx 10 30am till late evening.

Enjoyed it so much have booked to return in September.

Fantastic apartment

We had a fab holiday in Lagos. The apartment was great for us as it was comfortable, modern and spacious. We have an 8 month old and Rik provided us with a cot and high chair which was much appreciated. The massive balcony was also brilliant. All rooms had a patio door leading out onto it.

We would definitely recommend this apartment and Lagos as a family holiday.

We are a well traveled family that has discovered many parts of the world. Many years ago we discovered the Algarve the only thing i can say is why not sooner. After spending 7 years in the South of France we thought we had seen it all. Then we found the Algarve. With the apartment being on the top floor with all day sunshine four patio doors that follow onto it, air con, a surround system in each room, so you can all enjoy your own taste of music, the beautiful shared pool with its well landscaped gardens & palm trees. As well as the video entrance system including pin code to access the property & its own dedicated car parking space if required. As its location is quiet but at the same time 10 mins walk to the Marina restaurants, beaches, markets & shops. water parks, golf,etc.

Nearest Airport : Faro at 80 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : Snack Bar Restaurant "O" CHICO at 200 Metres Nearest Ferry : Marina at 1.5 Kilometres Nearest Golf : Boa Vista at 3 Kilometres Nearest Train : Lagos Train Station at 1.5 Kilometres Nearest Motorway : N125 at 1.5 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : Snack Bar Restaurant "O" CHICO Excellent Cheap at 200 Metres Nearest Beach : Mara Paria at 1.5 Kilometres Car: not necessary

Coast/Beach:

15- 20 minute walk to the nearest sandy beach, which includes water sports or if you just prefer a beach walk to the picturesque coves all the way to Meia Praia. You will never have a problem finding space on the beach as they are so vast.

Travel:

No car required as all facilities within walking distance. Faro airport 45 mins away, although we can arrange a meet and greet at the airport if you prefer. If wishing to travel further out of Lagos there is a train station by the beach which can take you to several local towns on the beautiful Algarve coastline.

There is also a bus station that runs opposite the marina or there is no shortage of car hiring places or if you are out in Lagos it only costs around 4 euros for a taxi home.

Distances:

Main town of Lagos within 5 minutes walk. Portimao is around a 20 minute drive.

Being on the top floor of any apartment block is a must endless sunshine or you can always go in the shade if you need to, or just take the lift down to the swimming pool. Or if thats not what you want to do take a walk down to the Marina (10 mins or so longer if you stop at one of the snack bars on the way down the one opposite Lidls is cheap good & plentiful. Pass here & you arrive at the Port/Marina where they are endless cruises, water sports, boat fishing, bbq boat lunches, exploring caves by boat, seeing the dolphins, the list is endless. Opposite the Marina heading towards the beautiful historical town of Lagos with its many restaurants, museums, & very welcoming, friendly atmosphere, the local people love to make you feel at home nothing seems to be a problem for them.
