A much loved and modernised, detached family home with its own gardens on all sides. The property adjoins open countryside at the rear and enjoys sea views from the front. It is located in the higher part of Port Isaac where you can escape the crowds and where it has its own valuable parking for 2/3 cars. All the local beaches, golf courses, Eden project and other local attractions are within easy reach from here.

James has lived in Port Isaac for 23 years where he has owned and run 2 hotels and a restaurant. Married to Sharon whose family have fished from Port Isaac harbour for generations. Two sons, Lewis and Jack.

Why James Bishop chose North Cornwall

We love Port Isaac for its friendly community atmosphere and of course the amazing natural beauty all around you. There is a real buzz around the place most of the time, with its lively bars and restaurants but easy to dip in and out of as one pleases. The success of TV series Doc Martin with Martin Clunes has added to the interest as has the success of our own shanty singers Fishermen's Friends.

What makes this house unique

Our lovely family home is tucked away at the top of the village on a large plot with extensive gardens and excellent privacy so even in peak season you can escape the madding crowd.
