Heasley House is an elegant Georgian home situated on the western edge of Exmoor National Park. With plenty of large and airy rooms, it is the ideal place for birthdays, anniversary weekends, get togethers or self catered family holidays. It offers the best of both worlds - situated in the picturesque hamlet of Heasley Mill it is ideally located to explore Exmoor’s beautiful national park whilst only a short distance from North Devon’s wonderful beaches and coastal towns. Having recently been refurbished and restored by the current owners this beautiful grade 2 listed building has been transformed into a luxurious retreat brimming with period character and charm. There's plenty to do in the surrounding area. So whether you want to cycle, fish or horse ride on Exmoor or surf, swim or sunbathe on the beach, Heasley House is the ideal base. And only 40 mins from the Tiverton Junction on the M5 it's surprisingly easy to get to.

This house has everything we need. Especially facilities in the room and bathroom are excellent. From hand wash to window curtains are selected to exceed the usual standards. House owners Mr Miles and Mrs Mandy were very kind and helpful and also didn't hesitate to deliver the house standards to their guests. We wonder no one done the review for this excellent cottage.

Nearest Airport : Exeter at 40 Miles Nearest Train : Tiverton Parkway at 30 Miles Nearest Beach : Combe Martin at 16 Miles Car: necessary

Coast/Beach:

We are between 30 and 45 minutes drive from the nearest beaches at Lynmouth, Combe Martin, Woolacombe, Croyde, Saunton Sands.

Travel:

Heasley House is 40 minutes drive from the Tiverton Junction of the M5.

There are regular bus services from South Molton (10 mins Drive)

Tiverton Parkway train station is only 40 minutes drive and reachable by taxi.

Exeter International Airport is about a 1 hour drive.

Distances:

Heasley House is located in Heasley Mill, 5 minutes' drive from North Molton (2 x pubs and village shop/PO) and 10 minutes' drive from the market town of South Molton with it's twice weekly pannier market, excellent food shops, cafe's and Quince honey farm.

Barnstaple is 25 minutes drive and is our closest large town.

Notes:

  • Outside: Behind the house is a quarter acre garden. Mostly laid to lawn there is plenty of flat grass area for outdoor games, BBQs and seating/dining. At the front of the house there are a couple of bench seating areas overlooking the village green. An ideal place to catch the last rays of sunshine on a summers evening, enjoy a drink and watch the swallows and swifts swooping by. Utility Room: We have a small laundry room with a washing machine and two dryers. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All our rooms are supplied with Egyptian linen sheets and pillow slips, luxury duvets and a choice of pillows. Our bathrooms are supplied with fluffy white bath towels. If you wish we can offer a maid service to freshen up rooms or change linen. Other: We have a large dinning room capable of seating up to 18 people at one large table. This room has a large inglenook fireplace with a wood burner.
